The Ennis media machine is in overdrive, now with the Herald

The way this guy crawls up the arse of certain journalists makes me sick.

He is nothing more than a glorified Darren Senter. But nobody ran around saying Darren Senter was "made for Origin".

Would prefer Darren Senter over Ennis as a player Hybrid

So he loses a game for NSW through his stupidity and somehow this is seen as a good thing?

In my opinion it is time for Sheens to come out and say how dissapointed he is that Farah is not in the NSW team. Sheens may be the Aussie coach and may be try to be even in his comments but face it while he is the coach, he is not going to pick Ennis over Farah for Australia.

Sheens first job is as the Tigers coach and he should be in the media stating that he thinks the likes of Farah and Galloway should be in the NSW team, maybe the journos would take some notice of him.

The media love in for Ennis makes me sick, he is a vastly inferior player to Farah.

whilst it would be great for Robbie or any other wests-tigers player to be in the Origin series, personally I think its more important that they are able to play in each round.
.
The media appear to have a love affair with Ennis. :crazy
they are entitled to their opinion. :unamused:
be curious to see what happens when it goes sour!!!

Blues condemn Elias for Origin flood gaffe

The NSW side has moved to distance itself from controversial comments made by former Blues player Benny Elias comparing the Queensland floods to next week's State of Origin series opener.

Elias made the remarks at a function organised by the NSW Origin Legends last night.

"They are going to make these floods back in Queensland ... look like an absolute mimic when it comes to us coming up there because we're going to create a massive storm," he told Fox Sports.

Elias apologised for the comment today, telling News Ltd: "I understand some comments I made on Thursday night about Queensland at a NSW State of Origin dinner were misunderstood.

"I've always felt the barbs and banter between the two states adds to the theatre of State of Origin.

"But if a comment I made about the Queensland floods was misinterpreted then I genuinely apologise."

**_NSW hooker Michael Ennis asked to speak to the media about the issue because of his personal experience in visiting the flood-affected areas with his NRL club Canterbury.\
\
"The NSW Rugby League, also my club at the Bulldogs and a lot of these players here did a hell of a lot of work up in Queensland with the floods," Ennis said.\
\
"I'm extremely disappointed ... it was uncalled for."_**

Ennis denied the comments would make the Blues' task more difficult at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night against a Maroons outfit sure to be fired up by them.

NSW trained at Coogee Oval this morning with interchange forward Dean Young running with the side for the first time as he nurses his troublesome knee through the lead-up to Origin I.

**Ennis...what a crawling grease monkey he is!!..he is so far up the a** of the media...he thinks he's a media darling....gotta give it to him though...he knows how to work a situation to his favour...that's why he's such a grub!**

Ennis is a [This word has been automatically removed] ! Full stop . Nsw will lose And I agree this is the worse Nsw selected in 31 years And yes I am from NSW !! QUEENSLANDERRRRR !!!!! Only cause I hate every tool in side including the coach!! He is the highest tool !! Farah, Dwyer , Lawrence & Galloway keep your heads up always next year when they flick sticky off !! Lawrence would not of been chosen if fit cause he don't slick ricky tje dicky sticky like gaz does !!!!

First scrum against Wests in 77-78 . Dallas Donnelly head butts him . Boyd repeatedly attempts to take his head off . Tommy attempts to pull his eyeballs out with repeated gouges And then stupidly Ennis opens his fat trap . Anyone have a working time machine ?? Would pay to see that Or even better first scrum against Billy Johnstone former bulldogs hooker (and almost Australian middleweight champion . Lost because a head butt ) and Ennis picks a fight Billy fixes him up . :roll :roll :roll :roll :roll :roll

He'd probably talk them all to death

And then he runs behind his front rowers at the scrum and then they wonder :wtf and start throwing a few at him themself.

Little 'Grub' Josh Reynolds out to emulate Michael Ennis

James Phelps
From: The Daily Telegraph
May 20, 2011 12:00AM

JOSH Reynolds picked up the phone yesterday.

"Yeah Mick Ennis called," said Reynolds, who will make his debut for the Bulldogs tonight when they take on the Raiders.

"He said 'remember everything I have taught you. To wear the No. 9 with pride and give them a little bit of you know what'."

You don't have to think too hard to work out what a "bit of you know what" means coming from a player of Michael Ennis' ilk. Especially when the advice is directed to the player the boys at Belmore call the grub.

"Yeah he has passed on some lessons in that department," said Reynolds.

"And I listen because he is the best in the business when it comes to his talk."

Reynolds is the other "grub" at Belmore. While no one can hold a flame to Ennis, who will miss tonight's clash due to Origin, when it comes to cheek and chat, his replacement Reynolds has been learning from the best.

"Everyone says we have two grubs at the club," Reynolds said. "But I don't mind that if they are comparing me to Mick. I mean he is the NSW hooker and one of the best players around. He has been spending a lot of time with me, teaching me and showing me the ropes, and I have been listening."

A halfback-come-hooker, Reynolds has been taken under Ennis' wing. Since being called up into the Bulldogs NRL squad, the NSW Cup grand final winning man-of-the-match, has been mentored and challenged by the man they call the "Menace".

"He knows all the tricks of the trade," Reynolds said.

"He has taught me a lot of stuff around the ruck. He does a lot of stand-up plays and things like that and he has really worked a lot on that with me. He is like having an extra half on the field and he has shown me how to lead the forwards.

"Most of all he has shown me how to compete and told me to give it my all. We get into each other a bit in training and I guess I try and be as competitive as he is."

A Bulldogs junior who has rocketed through the ranks, he gets his chance tonight.

"I have been waiting my whole life for this but to be honest I have only been ready since the end of the pre-season," Reynolds said.

"I went OK in the trials and it was good to get a sniff. Blokes like Mick and Brett Kimmorley have really helped my development and I am hoping to have a good game and maybe challenge for a bench spot in the future."

Reynolds hasn't played grade yet but he is already in the sights of rival clubs. Off-contract at the end of the year, the Rabbitohs have already made a play to secure him as a replacement for Chris Sandow.

"To be honest I want to stay here," he said. "There is a bit in front of me, but Kev has said that I can push on to the bench if I continue improving."

I stopped reading after the 2nd paragraph, my comment to it was _"He said 'remember everything I have taught you." Well expect to have a short career then mate!_

When did Ennis become a star in the game?

These articles are becoming embarrasing.

Ennis and parts of the media have formed a mutual admiration society, yes it is getting a bit much Stryker.

and what a surprise. With a few minutes to go, dogs trailing by 6 and finishing strongly, grub junior gives away a stupid, nasty penalty which costs his team any chance of finishing over the top of canberra. didn;t cost them the game but snuffed out any chance they had of winning it.
Rather amusing really.

LOL, that little bit of 'You know what' sealed the game for the Raiders.
