The factions.

I'm only an occasional visitor, but the underlying feeling of this thread is the whole Moltzen vs Lui argument.

The only reason I joined the original forum in 2009 (I think) was because of a match report where Wayne Cousins was praising something Hodgo had done when it was actually Moltzen and I wanted him to give credit was credit was due, but it took me 3 posts before he changed it - after I argued with him that he was obviously biased against moltzen.

I think a lot of people have hated, yes hated, Moltzen since he joined the club and effectively replaced Hodgo and they have never let it go since.

I did argue once before that Moltz was clearly a better 7 than Lui but even then as I put it the 'Lui Lovers' jumped down my throat so I backed away.

However, my wife reads the forums now and is always quoting stuff from threads and I simply say to her, that ultimately Sheens is the coach and he's the one making the decisions and not a bunch of lounge chair coaches who don't have a say in what he does.

It does seem that everyone's opinion is equal but some people's opinion is more equal than others and those people seem to think that they have the right to belittle others and personally attack a players ability, as being weak, soft cock etc etc.

If it was against another forum member they'd get banned for flaming but it seems under the guise of being a forum member they can get away with it.

Is it any coincidence that this :wtf also stands for Wests Tigers Forum, because there seems to be very little team support and lots of hatred of players and other forum members.

And yes we can all joke and say it's all just opinion, but deep down is it really.

I think a lot of people need to take a serious look at themselves and some of the crap they've posted on here.

I dont think anyone hates any of our players at all

Well it certainly comes across that way. It seems really spiteful and venomous like they're from Manly or Bulldogs (or any other team for that matter but they are the two I most despise).

I certainly don't. I think this thread should have been deleted from the start. It was a weak attempt to start fights amongst tigers supporters who frequent this forum.

x 2 KS We all just want the best for the team and are probably a bit nervous after what we have seen after the last two weeks . No reason not to fire up this week though .

I love everyone's passion and I suppose at the end of the day we all want our beloved Wests Tigers to play well, win more games than we lose and hopefully win another comp.

For me anyone who is good enough to play NRL has my respect as it is the toughest comp in the world. I would not survive one tackle in the NRL.

I feel sorry for Moltzen as he has come back from a serious injury and has not been able to find a permanent spot in the team.

On current form Moltzen should the dropped back to State Cup to play half back to gain back his confidence in attack and defence. If Lui injured or his form slumps then Moltzen can come back into the calculation and will be use to playing 80 mins and at half back.

I support Wests Tigers no matter what team is picked whether I agree or disagree with Sheen's selections.

I also like to express my views on the forum and don't take it personal if someone disagrees.

Whatever is wrong with our side this year I hope we can find some answers this week as another performance like last night could be a nightmare against St George who have the players who can take full advantage (especially since 7 of their players will be coming off of a lost to Brisbane).

GO WESTS TIGERS AND TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS KEEP UP THE PASSION

Maybe the state of the forum reflects the state of the team, disjointed, too many egos, individuals going for the glory ?

I wouldnt visit this forum at all if we all agreed an shared the same opinions. That would be extremely boring.

And thats all its is, Opinions. Not factions.

And one poster who lacks testosterone but does a lot of :bawling.

What team needs is to be "on song" and "injury free" towards last rounds of the comp.

In the meantime as long as we keep in touch with the leaders and the "top eight" we should be reasonably OK.

IMO there are always issues within the club and playing group which have to be managed.

I think its clear to all that the club needs to create some flexibility around the salary cap to ease current problems. Not to mention the fact that Tim will have to re-structure the player roster to cover for some obvious shortcomings we have, particularly "no mongrel in the forwards".

Taking pot shots at forum members is not a particularly great way to foster positive communication around this place and only serves to fuel further arguments. Please refrain from doing this.

The Moltzen issue is different to previous arguments about players such as Fitzhenry and Morris simply because it's more of a 50/50 argument.

In other words half the fans here love Moltzen, the other half dont.

I think with Morris and Fitzy the vast majority questioned their recruitment and selection in the team.

At the end of the day the forum is a place to discuss issues, nothing wrong with that so long as it doesn't get personal.

Some of the anti-Fitzhenry comments towards the end were disgraceful. Fair enough if you didn't want him selected you had every right to express that but the personal attacks on the bloke, especially last year were pretty poor.

And its okay for certain posters to have pot shots at others. Sometimes even the mods appear to condone it.

it's no use complaining about these alleged violations after they have occurred
but substantiate any claims with evidence showing the double standards or misuse of power

There are factions and many of them are secret.

Myself and a few others on this forum are members of the exclusive and secret "Masters Club." We meet in the dressing rooms at Lidcombe Oval every Saturday at 2.30pm and slap each other around and trash the dressing room.

Gary - you should clearly articulate that your faction is a sub-set of my own. Yours is a secret sub-set that was not meant to be displayed to the greater public.
