@Russell Scolari is a winger and Dillon is a fullback. You can watch jersey Flegg highlights if you just type up ‘Wests tigers jersey Flegg’ On google search then go to videos l, you will find the match highlights. Watch a few of them.

@jirskyr I hope he doesn't end up like Dufty, very similar players as well.

Paps has Dufty written all over him too, hope for his sake that doesn't happen.

@Russell From my JF observations this year real talent should come from a couple of the following and but there were also many others:

Forwards

* Felix Smith - a tireless worker that gives 110% and made metres every single game. Rewarded with a couple of CC games and didn't disappoint. Worthy award winner as JF player of the year and was definitely my pick of the players this year.

* Michael Fenn - big unit and tough who came across late in the season;

* Mavoni - see below. Came off bench but is a real impact player and belted the opposition many times with hard runs which at times were scary.

Backs

* Burey (5/8) - thought he developed better as the season went along and went well in CC from the games I watched;

* Dillon - exciting player and unlucky with injury and may need some more size. Has acceleration but also needs to know when to pass after he has done all the good work.

* Lee Silver - 2nd year in JF and really improved out of sight this year being a year older and made a lot of good metres. Solid and tried his heart out every week he got a chance.

* Scolari - new to the club this year and from a rugby background but did play league at young junior level in Dubbo. Tough as nails and very quick - has no fear. Looking at some of his YouTube clips he needs to be careful with his 'hits' technique or could find himself on the sidelines a bit. Fred is correct in that he's raw (positioning needs work) and I think he needs to get bigger also. Could transition to an awesome lock with his speed and mongrel and a bit more size over the off season. Got promoted to CC last game and I hear from senior players went very well.

* Wilson - worthy players' player and tackled well on the right edge with his winger. Again size? but can make it to the top. Showed good speed and also was a leader during a difficult season but helped captain them to a run of 6 wins in a row and almost steal a semis spot which is a good sign.

* Cini - scored a lot of tries at centre and an Australian schoolboy rep so should have something. Again his first year out of school so like some of these it's amazing what can happen from 19 - 20 over the off season as they develop and train.

There were others who came on really well as the season progressed. I do like Mavoni who is big and a basher up the middle - sadly he was injured with about a month to go.

Yes other clubs have talent also coming through but I think you'll find that we do too with the right support and pathways.

This is what I would like to see -hang on to the payers who are showing some good form and work ethic, who would be grateful and honoured to work towards a first grade spot.
We must hang on to these guys, don't let them go to other clubs:relaxed:

From what I saw of CC Burey looked better than Madden.

Scolari, WIlson, Seyfarth and Burey all have the drive to improve which will go down well with Maguire. Maguire mentioned Seyfarth yesterday and if these young fellows continue to improve incrementally, I believe we will have the foundation for a very good team. Madden demonstrated very good poise for such a young player and I am looking forward to watching him play next year. Dillon and Cini are obviously highly rated juniors with x factor.

@pawsandclaws1 Agree, I'm excited for the future and its how we develop these juniors coupled with their work ethic that will provide a platform for success.

I think we will Seyfarth feature in first grade next year and I think he will be a valuable asset to our forward pack, if we can add him, Musgrove and Packer (hoping something changes) to our pack, I think we have a solid forward pack going into 2020, which should suffice getting us into the finals next year. 2020 doesn't seem as bad as it was a couple of weeks ago, IF things go our way with the squad.

His mother is an artist born and bred in Balmain. His family moved back to Balmain from Dubbo. There is an interesting clip on Lara Scolari on the net,

@Madge Young kid by the name of Jordan Hill. Finishes up year 12 at Holy Cross this year and has been signed for the next 2 seasons to Fleggs.

Plays First Grade AFL, touch for the roosters but will focus on league from Nov this year.

Winger, speed to burn but most importantly he is a quality young bloke.

Scores a great try in the following video (3 min mark)

@aubanon mentioned Hill back in 2019 as a prospect
