What are the particular instances in tonights game where the refs showed bias? There was very little controversy at all, except for that disgrace about the fight. 1 bloke deserved a rest according to the new rules. So you tell me why 2 QLDers were sinbinned? Bird didnt deserve it and neither did Hodges and especially Tate.
QLD were far superior this evening and your lucky they didnt capitalise on all chances…They still have improvement in them. The refs had very little to do with the result.
I do too Stryker and Qld were the superior side no doubt and deserved the win. But a couple of stripping decisions early (Thaiday and Hoffman) both went Qld way and they were good enough to capitalise and it helped decide the game in the first 20\. Not just those decisions but the game scoreline could have been tighter without them.
As for the sin bins, Hodges also ran in and threw a couple of lefts (hardly a proper punch but he still threw them) so he also deserved his 10\. The other two should have stayed on, and had the ref decided to penalise the first infringement - which they often do - that would have seen the penalty to NSW for Tate's push on Gallen.
