Or should I say musical chairs. Because that’s been the state of the halves for 18 months. Who will be sitting in the 6 and 7 jumpers when the music stops on Tuesday afternoon. Have a feeling grub’s number will be called once again. Brooks to half and Benji back to the bench. That combo should get us through the next 2 or 3 games.

Reynolds should've never been dropped. Most of our performances with him were pretty good and it's not like he did anything to earn a dropping. He's not a great player, but he has won an origin and played in 2 grand finals. You maybe do one of those if you get lucky, but to have the success he had it's more than luck. Yet Madge thought Brooks, who's achieved nothing but a fluky dally M half of the year award, was a better option.

Benji has reverted back to his default rocks performances. I don’t rate Reynolds at all, he’s too erratic, but at least plays with some heart and is currently the best option we have. This is the best we can do this season unfortunately.

Forget the halves altogether. Let’s just replace them with forwards and play 2 props on the bench with 2 backrowers.

Brute force strategy. Beat the opposition into submission by having 4 or 5 props on the field at once.

If it doesn’t work at least it’ll be entertaining

I hope he's back in this week but he wasnt dropped got suspended for two games and couldnt find his way back into the team. Guess you could argue he should of been there this week but would of been hard to put in after the games against the broncs and parra

Got suspended, then benji & walters put 48 on broncs, went toe to toe with parra.
Then warriors game and now.

Currently, all the halves we have used suck. Benji needs to retire, Brooks horrible out of form, Walters a reserve grader. Honestly Reynolds has been our best and he’s still just been okay.

Signing new halves is #1 priority for next season. There are some decent options too.

All our halves are currently in career worst form. All at the same time. It can’t be coincidental.

Problem is they're all around the same level, for mine Reynolds and Brooks are the best we have, but they're only marginally better than Marshall and Walters.

We have too many of them, Madden can't get a look in and he's the only one with scope to improve.
