You will never have every NRL team fielding three teams. QLD teams aren't going to field a over age 2nd tier team as they have the QLD cup to feed. The costs involved would be to much for some clubs especially in the current economic climate. Simply isn't enough money in the game to accommodate it.

Yeah im hearing what your saying but they use to.

You say theres not enough money then why the hell are we fielding 2 teams that cost the wests tigers which is balmain and wests MONEY THEY DONT HAVE.

If we can afford to field 2 teams then im sure the broncos an nqld could field 1.

Balmain & Wests State Cup sides cost the Wests Tigers nothing at all.

It is why the Tigers merged with Ryde Eastwood, to secure their financial longevity

Wests Tigers don't pay to field State Cup teams. Wests Ashfield puts the money into the Magpies and Ryde Eastwood into Balmain. The only thing Wests Tigers pay for is the 2nd tier salary cap (which is split according to the players they allocate to each team) which every club in the NRL is entitled to spend.
