The month ahead

Last night was disappointing, but looking at the month ahead I am rather confident.

We have:
Round 10: v Newcastle at Newcastle
Round 11: v Cowboys at Campbelltown
Round 12: Bye
Round 13: v Titans at Leichhardt

I think we could be very good chance of picking up 8 competition points from those 4 rounds.

we have a lot of home games coming up through origin, we can make a good run.

Especially with the players the Cowboys will have out.

I'm hopeful we will get to see Cherrington debut over that time as well.

I'm very worried without Simona. We lack speed everywhere.

Woods and Farah are definitely in the top 3 this year for us and we lose way too much without them. Both irreplaceable really.

A good test of depth against a depleted Cowboys side as well.

many teams are in that position, i find that the toll they take on us is very overrated.

storm lose 4 players, cows and chooks are decimated by origin as are the dogs. with 2 players out we're not the worst hit team, we're about average.

Most of those teams don't have to play all three games without their stars though.

Cowboys and Titans will…..We will be at Full strength V Knights..

All winnable games

Farah would be lucky to be in the top 5 for us this year IMO

I do get what you mean though. If we have halatau at Hooker for a long period of time we'll be lucky to score any points. He has played well this year in the backrow but just isn't a dummyhalf. Cherrington a time is here.

Im a huge Cherrington fan but have those calling for his inclusion actually watched him play State Cup this year? He is well short of being ready.

I guess a benefit of having Cherrington in the side is that opposition sides won't focus their attacks on Brooks and Moses as much - they will run right up the guts.

This didn't really work out….

Thinking we can win 3 in a row was always a stretch,we cant even win one in a row,but I love your optimism.

I was just thinking the title of this thread should change to the rest of the season ahead. I am still trying to work out where our next win will come from? On paper even the teams below us have more wins in them than what I can see for us. Shades of 2002 & 2003, but not looking at any wrist slashing yet and prepared to give the young team a chance to gain experience this year.

Mate at least you are honest enough to admit you got it wrong unlike our coach

Might have lost but there were a lot of positives apparently. Not exactly sure, where, but JT says so so it must be true.

It's what we are best at!
Giving young players experience
