The Month From Hell - what are you hoping for?

I'd like to see the forwards playing with the same purpose. They have actually played with some consistency the past few weeks, led us down the field and let Brooks get to his kicks.

That's all I ask. If they can somewhat do that, I'll start to have some faith in our coaching team because the players will appear to be following the gameplan.

Brooks and Mbye have been executing fine but we really lack strike in the backs. I don't think that will change this year.

You'd think we verse Panthers without:
- Cleary
- Luai
- Capewell
- Crichton
- Yeo
??Korasaiu

The camp is in Melb/NQ so can't imagine them travelling back and forth for this game?

I want no big scores against us. I want all tight, contested games, and no sign of us giving up. Even if we lose all four.

One win out of four is the best I can hope for. Knowing us we'll win a couple of them which will leave us in contention for the 8. Then we can get let down all over again in the last third of the season.

We play the dogs last game, they will give it to us, so we finish 9th.

Once selected they can't play for their club unless they are a shadow player or there for the experience.

My expectations are low

Undefeated ..

Win every game are my expectations

Just have to show up every week. I think we have the fundamentals of a good side, both in terms of key talent and depth. It's a matter of getting into a groove of playing well and pushing every side the distance every week.

Until we can do that, nobody will respect us or take us that seriously, and we will continue to rely on these periodic flashes of form that are the undoing of some of our lesser opponents.

Next 4 weeks is an ideal opportunity to show if the Tigers are indeed building, both as a roster and in response to the coach. If we can win half of our remaining games, which is a decent result in isolation, we finish the year with 10 wins - not good enough for finals, but good enough to show some progress in the back of the season.

That's not like you Mike, even though I don't expect a win against Penrith I think we'll put in a performance that hopefully gets us a bit of respect at the very least.

I love Lucy and hoping he doesn't cop a week off because I don't think we've got anyone quite ready at the moment to fill his spot or Luke Garner's.

Penrith are due a loss and, in a way, need one (as crazy as that sounds). If they somehow made it to the semis undefeated, the pressure would be incredible given their only loss was the GF...imagine losing a second GF and those being your only two losses in 18 months.

So, let's hope they are flat.

Tigers W

Souths and Parra we play well...normally lose close games. Hoping for one W.

Melb...no hope.

So, two Ws this month, which would be enormous.

The likely selections of Luai and To'o for the Blues is a boon for us. I thought we would be facing both next week.

Saves the pain of disappointment if we lose and gives a jubilant high if we win.

If we were able to win 2 out of the 4 games we will set ourselves up for a real run at the finals. Anything less and we're gone.
