The negative nancys

There is no joy having to delete posts and break up childish immature school yard squabbles..it takes time .. we can't be here 24 hrs a day 7 days a week either so at times things spiral out of control quicker than they should.. the recent exchanges in the signings thread for example...

Maybe if people could pause for 10 seconds ..read what they wrote and think before hitting submit..there would be no need for any moderation at all..

It's a thankless task one I've committed to for over 15 years to this community .. you will never please everybody all of the time..99% of members of this community are fantastic ... for the minuscule minority perhaps just scroll on by might be the order of the day..

Seeing as how you are not doing any moderating, would you consider running the NRL last man standing comp again this year?
 
Something something freedom of speech, something something 10 years of failure.

No negative comment about the clubs performance, on or off the field, should be banned unless it's in genuine bad faith or is a form of harrassment.

I say this as someone driven insane by this club for the past 10 years, but being willfully ignorant instead of commenting on glaring problems about the club seems like further insanity to me.

I am going to sign up as a Nancy. Love our club and defended Madge in 2021.

Yet come 2022, I see Hastings doing well steering our team around the park, our forwards have improved a little.... But not much else.

We still don't have our basics down, or as down as other teams. We clearly have holes in Defense and were not really winning....


Madge is an Attacking coach, but our attack is disjointed. Take Hastings* out of 2022 and were wooden spoon for certain. Not saying get rid of him now. I am saying if Ciraldo/Cronk/Thurston or any new coach with a bit of spark about them wants to sign on for 2023, we should do it.

*yes and I was wrong on Hastings. I though he would be OK to good. He is clearly in the Very good level and shows a strong maturity.
 
Can see a decent run developing over the next few weeks.

Might help put the blinkers on all of us back on the footy.

Somethings happened, bit of form, tactics ,hunger and application and now luck with injuries. Brooks coming back from a hamstring so quick is unusual. Everyone's pulling in the same direction.

Just as well because I'm done with that politics thread and all the other BS.

Imagine if they go 6 straight into the Penrith blockbuster.

Until our roster management is not the worst in the league, taker of all the scraps, we will be meh
