The no coach effect

Criticise the players all you like (most of it is deserved) but until Cleary is announced this side will continue to drift. What I saw out there today was a team that was rudderless due to not having a coach. We can all assume Cleary will be announced, but till he is it will continue to be a distraction. Same thing happened after we sacked Lamb in 2002\. We we were getting belted every week, then the first week after Sheens was announced we put 50 on Souths. I fully expect big improvements once Cleary is official.

Definitely, the quicker Cleary comes in the better. Just like school days, Webster is like the relief teacher and no one gives a stuff in class when your main teacher is gone.

Cleary can't fix this side , I'm sorry

Its not his fault either

He'd be better off being an advisor /recruitment /retention officer this season , because by season's end his head is going to be messed up and done in

The funny thing I thought the team would lift for Webster in the interim, but it looks like he is happy to act as a caretaker and the team is responding accordingly I will judge their performance once /if/ after Cleary takes over

Webster enjoying the exposure on the sideline…. we may not have a head coach so where is the leadership from senior players. These guys don't deserve to wear the colours...

Has the season stopped "drifting" yet. Regardless of what you think of Taylor, pulling the pin on a coach in round three to 'save the season' while also announcing the search for a new coach could take months is beyond belief. Absolutely rediculous.

While disagreeing with the timing of the decision to sack JT, I remained pretty positive and open minded until today. Today showed we have zero leadership on and off the field, culture talk is all rubbish, the culture is shot. The body language of the team today was probably the worst I have ever seen. I can't see where our next win comes from.

At the risk of sounding dramatic, it's April and it's already time to start pinnning hope that next year will be the season we turn it around.

This appointment is so important. If we re-sign the so called big 4 on big contracts and let the lunatics run the asylum we will go no where fast. If we can get a strong character who will not pay overs for players and tell the others to deal with it or look elsewhere, then we can salvage our club.

We need a cleanout, it is bleeding obvious. Sure some of these guys may excel at other clubs, but they wont here!

I called our season done two weeks ago after JT was sacked
Im not saying he shouldnt have been punted, its just the way we do everything here, its all arse up…we screw everything up
We are the joke of the NRL

Even when we had a coach we were a rabble. There is no leadership and no accountability in the playing group.

That comes down to the captain !
I'd give my left nut to have James Graham as our skipper .

Fear not folks, im going well enough with SuperCoach

Maybe i will send my CV to HQ tomorrow
By the end of the week i could be the Head Coach and i already have the solutions to our problems
I do enough reading here !

Webster is doing his best with these players. You can see he is passionate about the team. If only all the players felt the same.
