The NRL deserves better than the Wests Tigers

Let's see this dope go through the Melbourne Storm's cheating on the salary cap and the "chicken wing", standing on players legs after a tackle etc, etc.

Then he can tell us about the drug cheats at Cronulla. That should be interesting.

Then there is the salary cap fiasco at the Broncos. He might tell us how a team with nearly an Australian and State of Origin team comes in under the salary cap, year after year.

I look forward with interest to his in depth investigations.

PS. Who is this bloke anyway?

Spot on Col, we are the media punching bag at the moment, but we know what the real story is, and we are on the up

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story eh😳 Is this bloke just out journo school no fact checking it seems

How annoying. There is no need for this article other than to prolong the Wests Tigers bashing to acquire more $ by clicks. The evidence is immediately found in the title and then within the made up nonsense. I can just imagine the writer was asked by his/her boss to jump on the bandwagon and milk the west tigers drama like every other media outlet is doing; by fabricating "truths" and formulating creative ideas with intent to captivate the reader.

Do these guys get paid for this crap , we are easy targets and have made plenty of mistakes but saying the NRL deserve better , Please , other clubs have done worse than us
We don't cheat the cap
We don't play dirty
We don't steel juniors

We do have the best product on the market in footy ( Wests Tigers )

Screw all the jurnos

We will rise up and finish this year well and kick some butt next year

Once the media has you by the balls its hard to reverse the trend.
The only way is to not to react and prove them wrong through results on and off the field.
Hopefully our time in the sun is over the horizon.

the roar isnt an actual media organisation, its just community contributions.

its just like someone making a structured post on here except it looks a bit more professional

That's debatable, whether it looks more pro or not.

A turd covered in diamonds is still a turd, right?

Don't sweat it - Old magpie fans dealt with this rubbish for years and years. No matter how successful the club will become in the future, someone will always find or make up something to help sell papers

The Roar is nothing but private school wankers practicing to be the next Peter Fitbandana - Bagging league and trying to pretend Union is relevant in Australia.

Written for a reaction…looks like it's a success...

Drivel that it is...

I read this article this morning and didn't think it was worth posting on the forum. He talks about all these problems as if the Tigers are the only team to have experienced tumultuous times. What about the Storm in 2010 or the Sharks in 2014 or the Knights in 2015\. Is he seriously calling the Tigers a bigger basket case then the Eels last year?

You gotta admit, most, if not all of that , was factual , that's what has given the reputation that we have. We look like at last , doing something to try and pull ourselves out out of the bog.
Rather than trying to kill the messenger again, we should be happy that at last we aren't searching in the bottom of the barrel for Coaches and players
Some would rather rewrite history.
A fairly accurate article.

I can appreciate a truthful and factual article, even if it paints an unflattering picture of the club. But, a lot of the stuff being said about the board and management is speculation and rumour.

You're right. It is the only way. unfortunately, some won't face facts , and live in denial . Even though we'd rather 0ur record was better, blaming others instead of the club itself is self defeating.

So are we going to toe in while the club makes reparations? The new coach is performing 100% better than the previous coach (who if I recall correctly wanted sacked from the first year.) Competing with the same squad as your previous favourite coach.

We've been active in the player market. Made signings never thought possible under JT.

You're just looking for excuses to sook about about the board.
