The Only in QUEENSLAND Files..

I'm surprised anyone in Queensland realised the mistake.
Probably took a New South Welshman crossing the border for a holiday to realise.

 dont forget they say this is the smart state after all.

Me thinks that if it was made in NSW it would be accompanied with a WARNING SIGN alerting everyone to the fact that they are now entering QLD!!

Then again there are so many Bluelanders boarding in the Sunshine State , sign is quite apt really

I still can't understand why there isn't a huge wall and lots of soldiers ,tanks and machine guns to be honest

Moths clog gutters and blanket Winton Hotel in freakish invasion of outback Queensland town
9NEWS By 9NEWS

Millions of moths have descended on the outback town of Winton, blanketing the local pub, clogging gutters and coating streets.

Footage shared by Frank Standfast on Facebook shows a truck reversing over a thick carpet of moths covering the street.

The Winton Hotel had fallen victim to the invasion, with thousands of the insects clinging to its walls, barman Max Jurd said.

"I was raking them up in garbage bags and taking them to the dump," Mr Jurd said.

"It's been going for three days.

"The best way to avoid them is just to turn off all your lights at night, but you still hear them banging into the walls and roof, it honestly sounds like rain."

Mr Jurd said the town was often overrun by insects after rainfall, but the invasions had never been this extreme.

The video of the freakish phenomenon has been viewed more than 43,000 times in seven hours.
