Does anyone know if we will hire/fire any of the support staff?

As fans we can't tell of the exact worth of each person in coaching and support roles (fitness, medical staff, strength and conditioning etc), but there is the impression that our staff are a fair bit behind best practice in such roles (if our injury recovery times is anything to go by).

Maybe that's why our players are heading off to Cronulla.

Having been treated by Peter Moussa I hope he stays..recovery which he looks after is pretty good. What needs to be looked at is the number of injuries Wests Tigers players pick up in a season in the first place in particular the number of injuries at training that needs to be looked at. Not sure the players are fit either.

McDonnell, Leads and all the other Sheens jobs for the boys people need to go.

Name one injury that was cause due to training neglect or mishap.

All injuries have been bad luck and nothing else. I can't help broken bones or torn muscles during games.

The players who were bought back early and re injured were the call of sheens. And in some cases he over ruled the trainers and staff.

Look at the type of injuries that have been plagued with long periods

A lot have to do with age of the players. Some are not getting any younger
The types of injuries they are getting. Some are not as simple as they sound. Eg broken bones. Lotes bones perfect example.

If you are talking about Andrew LEEDS, He has served this club and Western Suburbs before for 21 years and is the Wests Tigers longest serving employee, he was at the club a long time before Sheens ever stepped foot in the place and a fully trained and qualified physiotherapist.

CRAP noone comes back early for the tigers, they say 6 weks and it ends up been 10- 14 weeks. take lote a broken arm 12 months nearly.

Well said mate, I was going to post something similar. Its not like he just a former player running the water, he's fully trained as you say. I cant see how Leeds would be holding us back.

Yeah sorry its just Bad luck all our injuries and Manly well they just have good luck year after year…Yep it's all luck.

Even worse if Leeds has been there for 14 years then he definitely needs to be moved on.

The most tragic consequence from any injury/mishap this season was that resulting from young Mosese's torn pec suffered while lifting weights at the start of the year.

Fulton also did his wrist(?) in pre-season

Your moving Leeds on because he's been here for 14 years? Unless you have first hand experience that he is a poor physio then I'd say that is ridiculous.

Sorry, but i cant' accept we're a victim of 'bad luck' we've always been horrible with injuries and some injuries are not just down to bad luck. Tears, strains and other soft tissue injuries are often down to training, conditioning, and general care of the body. For example, Mosese and Galloway with pec tears. And our injuries this season have NOT just been confined to 1st grade. NYC and NSW Cup were almost as badly affected in terms of injury count. That kind of toll is simply not acceptable when other sides have been getting off scott free for years like the Storm or Manly. Manly has injuries, sure. But never like we do.

Last year wasn't too great injury wise either.

/endrant.

Softlaw I didn't say that

I said Todd Payten on the Thursday before the semi final v Saints in 2010

Are you kidding? Manly have had their fair share of injuries. We've just had more. They just are able to function missing a few players.
Wish the "experts" here with no idea would stop acting like they do.
Conditioning I'm not sure about but rehab is solid. Apparently our facilities need work though.

Exactly, their fair share. We've had about twice our share. Thus, I think training, conditioning etc. needs a look at.

3 grades with such extensive injuries is not normal.

Just going through Big League Manly have 12 players that have played more than 15 games and the Roosters have 13 players that have played more than 15 games.

Guess how many we have that have played more than 15 games…come on it's easy..you only need one hand.
