He only let in one try, was nowhere for a line break down the middle, watched a loose ball get fallen on from 3m away.
can't wait for him to have an amazing game.

@Rambo2714 said:It's based on our current roster , and although I know nothing like it will ever happen . It gets all our best players in the run on side and all of them in positions which I believe they can and would excel.
Leaving Ayshford out is a tough call ,but I think he would be valuable on the bench as a utility IE can be used in forwards .
Marshall at fullback would carve up . Tuquire was signed to play Center and I believe he would be a power house there. This also accommodates both lui and moltz in he halfs where they will play well.

Not true - he had a really good game.
sure you werent watching the game vs the sharks in 2009?
Yep - and plenty of posters on here knocking him should be admitting he had a good game today.
C'mon - it doesn't hurt to admit he had one good game.
@supercoach said:Young Sirro looks good, but cant see him playing in the backs for much longer. Although seeing him the other night he reminds me of the late great Jason Sinclair, Tall and so much ball skills, I wonder how he would rate with Aysford for pace. Very similar style players. Although I would not be rushing him for at least another year

So because I don't think Moltzen is a fullback (which he isn't), I'm not a supporter? Please.
People are bagging Moltzen because his defense is terrible. Everyone goes on and on about speed but playing fullback at an adequate level requires much more than just pace. Defense, defensive positioning, catching bombs, putting your body on the line, support play, attacking the ball, organising the defensive line. Moltzen does none of these things.

Sorry dude, I apologize for having some hope and positivity about our team and future options. Looking at your "requirements" for fullback, it seems that if you want all those things, you want slater or Boyd. I'm assuming because you are anti-motzen, you must be hoping Brown takes FB (because wade is leaving). When you compare the two from your list:
**Speed:** Moltz = great speed, Brown = lacking for an outside back
**Defence:** Moltz = not great (but can improve), Brown = makes poor choices (as seen vs dragons, and hasnt shown any real great defence)
**Positioning:** Moltz = needs to work on it, Brown = In his games at f/b hasn't been superb (we were just winning so he looked good)
**Catching bombs:** This is the one area where Brown shines over Moltzen, but I do think you can work on catching (whereas it is difficult to work on the entire attack of a player, you can't teach speed)
**Organising defence** This has got as much to do with our actual defence line, as with the fullback. McKinnon didn't get blamed when we had horrible defence and he was FB. And also, you would have to be on the field to completely understand how Brown/Moltz is organising and whether mistakes are their fault or not.
**Support play/attacking the ball:** Moltzen = looking at the past has proven an excellent support player when Benji has made breaks, and a promising attacking prospect. Brown = Doesn't support on breaks, and for somebody his size, does not attack with the speed and aggression that he should.

Completely agree Hybrid, moltz may have talent yes but until he starts attacking the football and running hard he will continue to loose confidence and fail! He needs to spend a lot of time in State Cup!
