The Roosters

Why can't the Tigers play the Roosters over the next few weeks with their current injury toll and the suspension of Pearce as they a bogey team for the Tigers.

Because when we kick their *$$ I dont want any excuses from them or their low life coach!

3 pages and no one has mentioned Ian Henderson's leg. Looked like a horror show.

_"In proffesional sports in other codes i.e. NFL, NBA if you're team is destroying your opponents you get taken off as precaution. What would be the point of risking injury which could derail your entire season? Quarterbacks in the nFL are taken off, All Stars in the nba are taken off…anyway i don't get it...**and someone did get seriously injured I believe in the end**_?"

Just read it's a compund fracture...Geez

They should have stopped the game at the 60th minute mark...it was well and truly over..

No one mentioned it probably because everyone stopped watching the game by that point or fell asleep.

But you're right GNR, hope he recovers well and wish him all the best. Those leg/ankle injuries are horrific and just horrible to watch. Reminds me of Yow Yee; Paul George and Shaun Livingston

I cannot fully express in words how little sympathy I have for the Roosters. My heart shines to see them hammered by Cowboys.

As ink noted, it really does seem a ray of light to see Roosters and Manly doing it tough, whilst teams I respect like Cowboys, Sharks and of course Tigers are making a real go of it.

You respect the Sharks jirskyr? Bloody hell. No respect for drug cheats from me.

Why is he a low life coach? I actually find him to be open and honest with his assessments.

We will have a big mental hurdle to overcome when we play them, They have had seven straight wins and won 11 of the past 12 between us. I would happily play them now (but do understand your point).

When the Roosters go badly, you know the problem will be fixed by immediately opening the chequebook.

We however have to work hard to nurture and retain our juniors and then fend off the approaches from the vultures when they prove themselves in the NRL.

I try to judge teams on their overall history, not just certain incidents. The drugs thing is a blot on what is otherwise a fairly long and decent history to me.

Fans could otherwise still be holding Tigers (the club) responsible for Crouching Tiger Hidden Finger, or the drug debacle of McGuinness and Field, the domestic violence of Rob Lui, the off-field incidents of Matt Lodge.

Drug Cheats unknowingly.
Lost there loved coach during this ordeal.
No major sponsor for a while there.
Team made up of also rans.
Paul Gallen as their Captain.

They have plenty going against them - yet the one thing you can not ever say about the Sharkies when they got thumped was "Gee, they sure rolled over"

Look at Newcastle vs Souffs from last week, and compare that to the any game in the last 2 yrs where the sharks got smashed - totally different calibre of effort.

The difference between the Sharks' systematic drug cheating and those few incidents that you mentioned involving our club is stark. All of our off-field incidents there involved the personal choice of the individual they weren't encouraged to do it by our management- unlike Cronulla. None of our incidents involved cheating- unlike Cronulla. WT sacked Lui and Lodge immediately once they transgressed- unlike Cronulla.
Cronulla as a whole club cheated, therefore they are deserving of zero respect IMO.

Before the season started I thought they'd miss the 8 this year. Long way to go I know, but I think this is gonna be the case. I have absolutely no sympathy for them. Can't stand the buggers.

Couldn't agree with you more…..a team where half their spin left then Pearce decided to celebrate aust day and injuries to key personel. Is a long way to go but its a long way back for them now.

Terry Lamb laughed at what Hoppa did in video sessions.

^Who wouldn't? As sick as it was, it was so bizarre that most people would of had a sly chuckle I'd say.
Its not really in the same postcode as a club systematically and purposely cheating by using drugs though is it?

Young bloke is absolutely spewing…It's his birthday tomorrow too...Here am I doing a secret Happy Dance...too much....?
