The Rumour Mill

Now, while I think this is zero chance of happening it would be a great result for us and for NSW.

The Farah/Woods/Pearce partnership could really develop and lead NSW to crushing victories over the despised canetoads in the next 8 SoO series!

Zero chance of that second paragraph happening!

J Thurston seen with Gus this week in Leichhardt. Gould probably talking up the beauty of the golden west, not the inner west.

I know Gus has been working very hard to get him, it's why they would clear Jennings from their roster, problem is getting another club to come to the party and pay him an obscene amount.

Pearce would be great for us, **and remember it isn't just Pearce. It is Farah + Pearce combination,** + Benji if he stays. Attacking creativity comes from Benji and Farah and field position and generally running of the team forward comes from Pearce. Allows Farah to attack around the ruck and probe for weaknesses and Benji to run out wide creating linebreaks now that they no longer have to worry about getting to 5th and kicking it.

No, its actually a Farah + Halfback combination. People carry on about the combination they have but its nothing to do with Pearce, its the fact Farah plays with a specialist halfback that it works so well

I heard that since Heino signed with Cronulla they have had to release Luke Lewis to us for next season, straight swap. They're also giving us Gallen for Blair.

All this talk about needing a halfback when we have one in benji. When we had both props and Robbie on the field this yr we won 9 from 12 and only just lost to the dogs if we had had them all yr then we would have been top 4 at least. No side survives without their top players Melbourne lost 5 in a row when billy slater got hurt, the dogs had all thier star players player every game, souths had thier best players on the field for almost every game and when they didn't they struggled, manly were the same Lyon, cheery Evans , watmough all played every game

You're kidding yourself if you think Marshall is a halfback.

When are some of you people going to get it into your heads that Marshall is NOT a halfback. Never was, never will be.

Did you even watch Miller yesterday?

God help me.

Has anyone ever asked Benji if he wanted to be halfback or is he just following instuctions like everyone else. I'm pretty sure that Benji would like to play each week where he plays in the Kiwi side.

Neither a half or a pivot….....bench at best!

The difference between 5/8 and half in the modern game is very little. Often they play exactly the same role on opposite sides of the field, generally one does a bit more kicking, and a bit more talking at times, some teams dont even have that distinction.
