Good result last night with Manly beating NZ. Handy if Parramatta can beat Penrith today.

We beat St. George and Parramatta in next two rounds, the media will be all over us.

What we do over the next 7 weeks is far more important than other results

But yes , the footy gods seem to be smiling on us finally 😛ray:

Hadn't you written us off the other day…the wagon will be around Rd 26 to pick you up...

We still are in control of our destiny Geo , but meant a few games had gone our way

I picked my tips as I wanted the results to fall for the Wests Tigers , did you ??

Cowboys and Raiders are my concerns and have been for a while

If Benji sticks to his word and backs out of playing against WT then we certainly have a better chance against the Saints. If Benji is so vital to their attack why didn't they give him a better contract offer? Maybe that contagious disease, JTstingyITIS that infected WT re Farah spread to Dragons re Marshal - it was rife at the time.

But doesn't our for and against effectively make it that we are 4 points out of the eight given we have the worst of the teams vying for a position?

As as others have said, we play most our top 8 competitors before season's end. If we're winning, we'll be adding to our for and against, and diminishing theirs. Keep winning and we should be right.

If we beat Dragons, Broncos beat Panthers at Suncorp, Raiders beat warriors in Canberra…. we'll be right on the cusp.

[In this situation, I can never tell how much of my hopes are delusional, but in my opinion, it's ours to lose]

With Dene announcing his retirement, hopefully the boys can send him out with a finals appearance

Yep exactly, honestly apart from the Cows/Warriors games the 5 games remaining are very winnable.

Dragons on the way down, no better time to play them
Up until yesterday Parra would be a tough one but I think their bubble would have just about burst now.
Cowboys is a very big test, but at Leicharddt so hopefully a very strong performance/maybe jag an upset
Titans I'd say are about on par with us another 50/50 game but being at Campbo probs leaning towards us
Penrith would be out to seek revenge, another 50/50
Warriors in NZ. I can't really see us winning this game and plus we have a horrible record over there
Canberra at Leichardt, we won't be getting beat by 54 this time

We can rely on other results but destiny is in our own hands and we need to just keep winning

i think we all can start looking to next season, my source tells me that the players are not happy about robbie. so we will see on the weekend if they play for dickhead JT OR LAY DOWN.

I don't understand why you would drop Robbie he was good off the bench play him 50 minutes he tackles has good little kicking game or did he not follow the game plan the last few starts or is this part of a bigger picture to get him to think about next year playing reserve grade in order to pay him less in getting him to leave

Just saw JT's presser on WT website he was good i wonder what would happen if the boys gave the DragQueens a flogging….Super coach would be born .....

I'm sure the players will put in. We should also win easily.

We should flog the Dragons regardless.

We have a better squad then them.

If that really is the case they can join Farah in Reserve Grade..

It's pathetic…is it park footy or NRL...

The press are saying we have to win 6 out of the last 7\. I thought that doesnt sound right so I did that ladder predictor thingo.
It turns out that is what needs to happen.
Unless we hand out a few thrashings , especially to teams like titans, warriors and panthers, we wont get in with 5 out of 7 wins.
These will be the teams we will be fighting to get into the eight on for and against.

We're a rough chance at best. As usual, losses to teams like Newcastle come back to haunt us

I believe we need 30 points because of our poor differential so 6/7 is correct.I doubt 28pts will get us there

All this talk of finals means we can only lose one game, or start thumping teams (which would require us to stop conceding points).

When was the last time we won 6 of our last 7, or eve 5of our last 7? We have a pretty awful record when it comes to closing out a season- and making the finals. So many times when we've been in the 8 we manage to lose our way.

Making the finals would be our second biggest achievement ever as a club!
