He normally puts in, but you can't play them both together even when both in form. Neither bends the line, neither intimidates, both are dramatically passive.

Start Stefano and Twal. Twal does bend the line but he's not a big hitter and lacks creativity, gets plenty of post contact metres. Stefano is big hard to tackle and offloads, provides good balance.

Ive repeatedly said we dont have a 1st tackle prop and tonight again backed that up. Twal and Tamou are ok as 2nd tackle props but u cant have both of them starting together.

Even though his hands are woeful we look better when Mikelle comes on because he is a first tackle prop who hits the line hard woth size. Stefano also has potential but is young and learning. Musgrove was expected to be it this yr i think but hasnt stood up

We need a first tackle prop and given he is coming off the bench in Newcastle id be going for Klemmer but id even be OK with Woodsy

Amone, Luciano, Simpkins off the bench.

We need to start Garner and Blore on the edges and drop Twal, Tamou, Seyfarth.

Move Luciano to lock off the bench in my view we need him involved way more with less emphasis on his defence in space.

Uto and Mikaele looked far better than Twal and Tamou, however Souths had eased up in the second half.
It took a couple of smaller guys running on to the ball and getting quicker ptbs for us to make some yardage. Laurie in particular stepped up here.
Whatever the anti Brooks club say, if he didn’t play today the score would have been over 50. Saved us with last ditch D on numerous occasions. Still tries his hardest every week.
Scratching my head on AD. Absolutely cost us 2-3 tries with his rubbish D, but with the ball looks better than most of our players. Has to swap back positions with Mbye, that is if Mbye remains in the 17. Personally I’d go back to having Mbye at 14. Bring Pauga into the centres. Liddle still can’t play 80.
Also time to bring up Tuilagi and drop Luc to bench or even reggies. Don’t care if he looks dangerous with the ball, his lack of effort in D needs to be outed.
Whoever our D coach is needs to be punted!!!
