OWNER OF MISSING RABBITOHS PREMIERSHIP RING REVEALED
\
\
THE mystery surrounding the stolen Rabbitohs premiership ring found at a Darwin house during a drug raid appears to have been solved.
According to a Channel Nine News report, the ring that was found at the home of Anthony Orrell during a drug raid back in February, is allegedly the property of current Panthers hooker **Apisai Koroisau**, who had reportedly registered the ring as stolen to NSW police.
The Media and Communications Department of the Northern Territory Police service released the following statement to RLW.
“Northern Territory Police believe they have identified the owner of a 2014 NRL Premiership Ring uncovered in Darwin in February,” the statement read.

“**As a result of media coverage a NRL player has come forward and provided a statement to NSW Police advising that he lost his premiership ring last year.**
“He has also provided information that has assisted in identifying the ring as his and not the ring lost by NRL Player Dylan Walker in Sydney Harbour.
“NT Police thank the media and the public for the information that was supplied leading to the identification of the owner of the ring.
“As the matter is before the court no further information will be provided.”
It is still unclear how the ring ended up in the possession of Orrell, whose lawyer indicated he will plead guilty to three steroid-related offences.
It is alleged that steroids, methamphetamine, MDMA, cannabis and a drug pipe were found during the raid.
Immediately after the story broke, many were of the belief that the ring belonged to Dylan Walker who had reportedly dropped his in Sydney Harbour last October.
But NT police have now confirmed that the ring discovered was not the one lost by Walker.
