well did he play?

if your talking about hayne, yes he did, and yes he's still one of the best currently in the game.

arnt the best suppose to be superhuman in grand finals and be unstoppable?

our superhuman Benji at least did

Don't agree with kicking him when he's down but he didn't do much, did he? Maybe he started to believe the newspapers. He's now aware I'm sure that, in the words of that old sage Fred Daley: "It's a very small step from a rooster to a featherduster".

Archer and Hayne did….the Slater penalty.......changes everything.........they don't kick the field goal......Parra score a la Lewis in the BRET game...........probably an 8 point try cause the grub Slater led with the feet.....

gee....Golden thought that would of been obvious to you...........

I ask u one simple question, would u want Hyane in the tigers colours?

In a heartbeat…......YES....you.?

Absolutely. He's a champion, and today doesnt change that. From the wing in Origin he was NSW best over 3 games, that says a lot.

He's obviously a very, very good young player who may well get much better.

But he was poor v The Dogs last week. Gifted them one try, almost gave up another, gave away a penalty (try).

Despite this, News Ltd and CH9 have gone way…....................way..............wayyyyyyyyyyyy....overboard with their hype all week. To the point of it being Michael Jordan like (A guy who won SIX titles).

Ridiculous.

He got involved a lot but the Storm contained him.

They strangled the Eels like they do to other teams.

Too much pressure on him. The media really need to back away and remember there are other people in the team.

In saying that the Storm did their homework on him and gave him no room at all to attack.

So who should they focus on?

A Melbourne player??
naah, this is Sydney media were talking about.

How about Joe Galauvao, or maybe Todd Lowrie…yeah, they'll sell papers, grab viewers.

Hayne, and all the other media darlings are only human and when they do eventually err, the plebs are quick to point out they arent so infallible after all, when really its to be expected and nothing more than a matter of time.

INK

How about we get some actual analysis?

Some breakdown of they key match ups? The coaching battle? The kickers? How will Reddy handle Inglis? Who will be the weak link?

You know, the type of in depth analaysis the AFL media give their game?

Instead, we get yearly "meet so and so's girlfriend", Phil and that woman who both know zero about RL, a tv coverage with zero depth aside from a couple of mins of Sterlo, paper talk all week about what players ate.

The problem is that the AFL media KNOW their game and are hard core.

Our "league journos" dead set know very little about the game and therefore we get crap like the TELE served up all week.
