The Tigers have started doing Bikram yoga

Now if we can have some supervision and limits in the gym work we might actually reduce some of the injuries.

Wonder how this will help us from being overpowered by bigger ,stronger and faster forward packs ??

Mate this isn't strength training etc,

It's about control and flexibility, but which are important in Reducing injury and increasing speed etc.

It comes hand In hand with the hard strength and fitness work.

Read my comment 3 above yours , I'm not questioning the Bikram Yoga and its benefits

"game related strength and fitness" is what they have nominated.

think this is excellent way to go.

I have always thought things like running sand hills builds the wrong sort of endurance. Builds slow twitch muscle fibres,

Funny thing is, we were already doing yoga for a while anyway, we just swapped locations for a hot studio to maximise the benefits and called it bikram.

So the net loss of time spent doing other exercises is probably zero.

Decent move by the club given the amount of injuries we sustained last year.
