I'd keep one of your experienced 3 for Game 3 , but not through want

Gallen and Bird stifle your attack too often , but on the other hand if Farah is retiring you'd want his replacement for the future to get a taste of SOO before the 2017 series

Haha…..... It's Bozo and Loz, all 3 will be there. Who's to say anyone they use to replace them with this year will be selected next year either through form or injury anyway.

In a way I think it would be disrespectful to the " culture" they claim to be trying to build to drop your long serving captain for a dead rubber. I'm not a fan of Gallen, but I don't think many people could claim he hasn't given everything he could for NSW and it's been over a long period of time. Who knows maybe a couple of players could show how much they love this state, be unselfish, retire immediately from Origin to allow the rebuilding to begin............ Nah, there's 30k in it.

I know Qld have a smaller pool to pick from , but NSW really need to follow the Qld line of pick and stick

You pick the hooker you feel will be the future (whether it be Peats or Lichaa or whoever ) and you stick with them

Same with the halves and fullback

Game 3 is an excellent chance to make some changes and see what does and doesn't work with an eye to the future

People say that Gallen and Farah have earned the right to a send off , that's is utter garbage , they earned the right to a send off if they win Game 1 or 2

If anything they prove why they shouldn't have been picked in the first place in my opinion

On the Farah question , any news how he pulled up from the accidental knee in the head he got from Woods ??

Don't know how he pulled up, but it certainly gave me a little chuckle

^I don't get a chuckle out of WT players getting hurt. Like him or hate him he is still our club's best hooker and we are a better side with him in the team (providing he does not overplay his hand), than we are without him. Hope he is right to play this Sunday.

Sorry FTB , I wasn't chuckling at all , it was a bad hit , surprised he was even up and walking around

I know as do many others we need him this weekend

Anyone talented enough to put the footage up ??

You will see what I mean , surprised no one else picked it up , around the 77 minute mark

Calm down mate. I'm not anti Farah. I had a full house of people who all thought it was funny that Woodsy tried to knee the opposition and got his own teammate. Someone even asked if you can get charged for it.

79th minute Happy and no, I don't have the skill to link it

That spear tackle was as bad as I've seen on a football field. Not even 10 minutes on the sideline. You can't throw a punch but you can put someone in a position where they can risk being paralysed , and only give away a penalty.
The Refs were too scared to do what they should have done. Wonder how many parents , mentally crossed Rugby League off the list of sports for their kids, after that tackle

Lol get real
The tackle was bad but I've seen far worse. Gallen spear on Myles the other year topped it for starters…accidents happen.

As for parents LOL....Rugby League isn't for everyone. It's an elite full contact sport. If it looks too scary then by all means make your kids play sokkah with the rest of the puncey little fairies. Leave league for the hard kids.

Moylan will need to move to 5/8 in club football and start getting used to it. The only way I see him in the team in years to come is in that position( barring injury). Tedesco, Dugan and I believe Hayne will all be in the side next year. Of course 12 months is a long way off and a lot of things can happen.
That may now happen with Hardacker at the panthers

Here it is here ran 10m to do it to…I did not know your knee was connected to your elbow as you said last night...

From a WT perspective, it was good to see Woods immediately brighten and speaking positively about the club when asked about it post game.

no way to sugar coat it
nsw played well, at times looked desperate to score, which resulted in qld scoring their first try.
Hold the ball take the tackle.
In the end qld played better, simple as that.

1\. James Tedesco
2\. Blake Ferguson
3\. Josh Dugan
4\. BJ Leilua
5\. Jordan Rapana

6\. Jack Bird
7\. James Maloney

8\. Aaron Woods
9\. Nathan Peats
10\. James Tamou
11\. Boyd Cordner
12\. Wade Graham
13\. Josh Jackson

14\. Trent Merrin
15\. Tyson Frizell
16\. David Klemmer
17\. Andrew Fifta

What i would run with, if we get an injury anywhere then Bird shifts out with Graham slotting in the halves.

Tamou??? Has he ever had a good game for the Blues?
Dugan at centre brings very little
Klemmer hasn't shown much of late
Fifita never shows much.
So depressing…...

Not bad, but Frizell deserves to start after his effort last night, and Rapana was born in Wellington, not the one in central west nsw either, although the maroons have had a few kiwis over the years. 😱pen_mouth:

Are you guys for real,
it was a classic spear tackle , and deserves a lot more than he'll probably get, And if you think parents don't take notice of rubbish like that , I suggest you think again.
I've been involved in League in playing, coaching both juniors and seniors, and Rep teams,, my kids and grand kids both have played ( one at a high level) and the g/kids still do. I don't really think any of us were ever scared to play, and when I did play , those sort of tackles were a lot more commonplace than they are now,

Luckily people , more concerned for player safety than you guys are, have gone a long way to getting it out of our game, not far enough it seems
While you may sit back and think that it's tough to spear someone into the ground head first,
Just remember some of the previous instances of players being injured in those sort of tackles,
You like to have a laugh at parents who care about what happens to their kids if rules are ignored. , that says more about you than those parents.
League is a hard game and yes it's full contact , and most of us wouldn't want it any other way.
But whether it was Thaiday last night, or Gallen on a different occasion, it's a send off offence.
I didn't know that there was still people around , who judged Kids " as punsey little fairies"
If they wanted to play a different sport than the one your kids do.

Geez there's some short memories here.

"bad"
"accidents happen"
lol

this was not a tackle that may have sprained a ligament or broke a bone, this was probably worse than alex mckinnon's, thankfully without the casualty.
2 matches. what a load of crap.

Changes I would make would be to drop Jackson, Frizzell, Moylan, Walker. Bring in Hoffman, Beau Scott and the Morris brothers. Game 3 can be a celebration of the NSW "stars" and their (mediocre) achievements over the last 10 years before the load of them and the coach sail off into the sunset.
