The worst stat in our history winner

UPDATE: Tuilagi's stats were updated and he actually went for a massive THREE hit ups.

This means the worst stat in our history stays with either Blair, Packer or Braith.

Still a shockingly poor effort, but 3 is higher than Packer's infamous 2.

In good news...we are waving Tuilagi goodbye and adding Papali'i in one of the greatest position for postion upgrades ever.

Last night

Tuilagi 3 runs for 30.

v

Papali'i 14 runs for 154.

This is like upgrading your country class horse who has a 0 wins, 1 third place record from 48 starts...

With a group one Cox Plate winner.
I've re-watched the game and this stat is very misleading. It almost appears our game plan doesn't require or expect a hit up from either second rower. For example: The first and second hit ups are always either middles or backs, by design and the edges stand wide. If they go left, Tuiagi follows Pole every carry waiting for an offload ( which never eventuates ), so he's out of the next play. The play after the next, if they still come left, he is only ever required to run as a decoy and the ball goes behind him to Laurie. The first opportunity he had to carry the ball was from a more or less unorganised play the ball where he was pulled up short, got a quick play the ball and Brown scored. They go right on fewer occasions and the play doesn't seem to be as rigid, so someone will occasionally pass it to Garner.
No wonder we can't score points, it's so obvious what we're doing every play.
