There's no excuses - But....

Interesting point put to me today from a supporter of another club...
Not many clubs back up from getting bashed by the Storm the week before.
in his words "They take something out of you it takes more than a few days to put back"

I had a look through the last couple years - And he's right....
The week after playing the Storm, Very few clubs back up the following week...
Even if they got a win.

Something I'd never thought of and found interesting...
Thoughts?

Could be onto something if we don’t have a history of ineptitude. We’ll see how they turn up this week

It's not just us, And not always obviously...
Some teams go from playing the storm to playing cowboys without the good players etc...
But also some goods sides copped a floggin the week after - I just thought it was an interesting observation.

Nice point. Although we do have a history of failing to turn up after tough games. Pretty much all of our worst performances in the last few years have come after a competitive/gritty loss.
Exactly. We must be the worst team in the comp for backing up from great performances

Thanks for that. I was really on the fence for the Roosters v Bunnies game. Think that post has me swinging in one direction.

Side note; I reckon you would find Penrith would be developing a similar reputation.

I will have a message for the "other clubs supporter" if we cant beat the Warriors

That sounds like me and my superstitions on game day but in reality it has no bearing on the outcome. Just like the Team, COULD have won IF they turned up.
Im not cutting them any slack, they have punished us poor fans and supporters for way too long

That's just an excuse, we played two under strength teams and we should have won.

The reality is that there's a massive problem with the Wests Tigers organisation, and it starts at the head.

Last 2 years, I remember one great 80 minute performance. Last year against Rabbits.
Well on that note, chalk us up for a season defining win.

Last year after an inconsistent start showing promise against both the Eels and the tough loss in GF vs the Bunnies we turned up 1-5 and versed Manly at 2-4 on Anzac Day.

Many expected it to be a competitive game but in reality with game Manly a training run and played them right into form.

Following that after calls of Madge being sacked etc and job on the line we grinded out a great victory agaisnt the Dragons in Wollongong.

Can history repeat?

Hang on everyone - here we go - round 2 of "Off with their Heads". Madge clearly isn't enough for the vigilantes. (not directed at you BTW TT)

Yes. I mean the entire organisation needs to be reviewed. From the board, through to Pascoe, Sawicki and ultimately Madge.

As we saw last year the board and Pascoe are self-governing, only so that they keep pocketing a pay check and not for the betterment of the club.

Let's see this week. Last weekend was pathetic even guys who like Seyfarth normally give it everything seemed somehow off. Hard to see why certain guys like him for example would be part of a lost dressing room or all of a sudden play softish and there was a few of them.

Maybe something in this, let's give them the benefit of the doubt and see how they aim up in coming weeks.
