Warriors are an ordinary side on paper without a couple of big guns. There backs and halves are ordinary apart from Walsh. Losing to them at home would make us specials for the spoon.

I get the purpose of the thread but geez it was the Knights missing their starting front row and Fitzy & Ponga. We got bashed and annihilated off the park. We didn’t turn up. I get slow starts but geez it was the worst performance by a team for a very long time and we didn’t look better as the game went along.

Saving grace could be we had a short turnaround this week hope they come out of the blocks firing tonight.

Yeah, They missing a couple rep players and superstars - Who are our rep players and superstars?
We simply don't have any - Yet.

They still had Frizzel, Gagai and Saifiti 2...
Arguably stronger players than anyone in our squad.

I know playing the Storm is never easy and teams struggle, they are a brilliant side and regardless of the hangover effect we shouldn't have been thumped by the Knights as badly as we did. 60% completion rate, Massive error rate, no forward making 80+mtrs (Lucy made 30 of his mtrs in the last 8mins) isn't related to the hangover effect that's on us.

The Knights had a makeshift fullback, young halves and backup 8/9/10 plus played a player short for half the game. Even their rookie backrower off the bench caused more damage than any of our forwards. You can mention 3 players but reality is we sucked & just didn't turn up. Across the park we are very comparable teams.

Stefano 45mtrs (9 off the kick off) & Twal can hold their own but didn't, Laurie/Brooks/Hastings combo never fired & failed us. Ken/Nofa more experienced wingers over their young ones made 8 errors between them. Worst captain performance have seen from Ken. We got spanked and walked over across the park. We looked flat and off the pace even with our kick chases/general intent from the start and all through the game it didn't change.

As I said short turn around should be a good thing the as the boys should be filthy with the Knights game - it's on them to show something & what they are made of. Dig in, start hard & fast against the Warriors. I want to see some effort, plenty of energy, hunger and clear intent early.

I was talking about the Storm game from last year...
You said the worst performance for a very long time - The Storm game last year was much worse.

If we want to get into defintion of time Bulldogs game was even worse than both..... The difference to both the Storm and Bulldogs game was time/position/situation.

The Knights game we had something to actually play for and just got out of preseason so everyone should've been hungry but wasn't. We even got some heat off us due to how we turned up against the Storm in the 1st 40mins from the media. Everyone put the boot in before season started. They clawed back some of that. Then performed how they did against the Knights and rightfully got thumped by everyone and now back to no one thinking they have anything to offer this season.

Hate to break it to you man -
There's something to play for every game.... 2 Points.
That's the only currency to be concerned with.

Those 2 points - They negate anything else you've mentioned.
