Things that make you laugh!! šŸ˜‚

The first day one is a guest, the second a burden, and the third a pest.
Yuk, this brings back bad memories.
I the early days of my now wife's and my relationship before we were married, she had a real bad case of the šŸ’©'s with me and said...If you don't go away, I'll get the pest control people out to get rid of you.
As you may be able to detect šŸ¤”, she's got a pretty bad sense of humor at times, but then, she is Dutch.

The Dutch have a reputation as being the rudest nationality in Europe yet during my life i have been in contact with many Dutch people (2 of them live in the same retirement village as i do) and all of them have been very friendly and good company. However i must admit they do deserve the reputation of being even more stubborn than the Germans

I’m in a walking group with 2 Dutch people and you wouldn’t meet 2 nicer people in your life.
But I used to have a Dutch boss who wasn’t quite as friendly.
I’ve been to Germany a couple of times on business and was pleasantly surprised at all my interactions with people over here.
Smiling, pleasant and helpful, not what I expected but it wasn’t isolated and didn’t seem forced.
Who knows, there are good and bad everywhere, even in Oz believe it or not, even on the WTF believe it or not !
I think that you get what you give,

Stubborn is the word.... i.e....she doesn't let much beat her which is a great way to be obviously.
But that stubbornness means I have given up completely trying to win any debate/argument with her, as I haven't won a d/a with her for over.......... šŸ¤”....... 30 years 😱.
I think I have a bad case of 'Rumpole of the Bailey' syndrome šŸ˜‰.

My wife can be extremely pleasant believe me. I wouldn't have married her otherwise.
But....when she aint in the frame of mind to be pleasant, it's like stepping through a mine field trying not to get her going.
