It’s a sponsorshio for Cronk nota tpa so not on that list. Teddy will have the same. I’d say they just run a fine line in wording.

so the nrl sponsor them?

What a load of bullcrap- transparency? The NRL whole of game sponsorship should be included- the NRL itself is a third party separate from the club, so include it. No hiding.

Also- TPA's- what about the cars provided by Politis to all the first grade players? If true, surely that would be included on TPA $$$- $70,000 for the Roosters, ha!!!!!!!!!!

So apparently all clubs TPAs have been released. I find the figures very hard to believe.

roosters 70 k

?????????

Tedesco's dental work would have been more than that.

:grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

70k TPA for the Roosters 😳🤔🧐🤥

These TPA's are funny what about direct payments that are not in the contracts the NRL don't police them I can give Tedesco 300K a year for as long as he plays for the Rossters

Or as uncle does take players out for a game of skins at 10K a hole

Look the whole thing is down to definition of TPA and that’s murky to say the least. The murkier the better for NRL and clubs like roosters who can always cover their arses.
The ONLY way to reveal the TRUTH on the matter of payments is for players, their Union, the NRL and the Clubs to AGREE (LOL) to publish full salaries which are reportable to ATO.
And good luck with that.

No it’s a business. A sponsor. Not the nrl.

Obviously golf games aren't inclusive in those figures.

That's the thing, I don't know why people are blowing up about these published figures - of course the Roosters have lower TPAs than everyone thinks, because they almost certainly aren't relying on TPAs to entice their players.

If you do it all too officially, NRL gets wind of it and places you under scrutiny. TPAs cannot be organised / ratified / underwritten by clubs. So you just put cash in a bag and see you later.

I look at the Tigers TPAs and look at last seasons rooster then see Pascoe is still employed go figure

Benji mate ! Robbie mate !! . Think about it !! Stop bagging the club it’s pretty obvious who got the TPA . They both signed for peanuts and were amongst our most exposed players . That’s not a coincidence

So Mole posted this on Channel 9 website this morning.
You don’t have to be Robinson Crusoe to work out who he is referring to.
If I was That “wealthy property developer” I would sue the pants off that grubby termite.

NRL RELEASE THIRD PARTY AGREEMENT DETAILS
The NRL released the values of the 16 clubs' third party agreements (TPAs) last week, and they raised plenty of eyebrows.
But the figures - published on the NRL's official website - only show what the clubs officially list as TPAs.
Several clubs have found ways to funnel money to players by TPAs that are not on the books.
One club, for instance, has a wealthy property developer as a benefactor and he builds apartment blocks, then sells units to star players for far less than market value.
It's not illegal (although somewhat shady) and the NRL even knows it happens.
And then, of course, there is the best TPA of all - the renowned brown paper bag.

What's to sue about
No names mentioned all rumour and innuendo
every one knows it happens and No one has the ba*** to do anything about because they have probably been involved along the way Salary Cap more like Salary Krap.

Lol yup, then once every little while we'll get an article explaining how the Roosters are actually under the cap and it's smart cap management.
