Problem is it's only a scoop if it turns out correct, we are running at about 30.4% success rate for scoops over the lifetime of this forum.

No offence AnonTiger, I'm totally happy for people to post rumous and "inside info" but you must realise that people are very skeptical because most rumours turn out to be just that.

You shouldn't take it personally, once posted the information is no longer yours to control, people will make of it as they please.

So again I always appreciate people making comments, making the effort to build the forum. But if people don't react the way you like, sorry that's just what happens when you speak to a herd.

And honestly if you have to start a brand new thread to complain about how people reacted to your gossip, 95% of the disbelievers of your original post are going to react poorly to your new thread.

Credit is one thing, but this whinge doesn't deserve it.

People with rumours and inside gossip need to realise that not everything they say will be believed and that not every rumour is or even will be true.

This person has taken offence to what should be a given (and the rumour, as it was, was hardly positive and would only cause a stir) and they shouldn't be applauded for that. "woot the bad news rumour was true, well done"….............what difference does that make except as an ego boost to the poster and fair dinkum, if you need an ego boost off the internet, you've got issues.

So based on this whinge, no credit will be issued from myself, but a recommendation to see a professional.

However, personally I would like the mods to take more control when so many posts are becoming more and more anti-club.

I don't mean deleting posts or locking threads, I mean like your comment above. A few warnings about attitude would be nice - it doesn't have to have abusive language only does it?

I like reading varying opionions but when quite a few get ansie to the club?
