This game proves one thing

We aren't playing well but lets judge the teams later in the season. We just need to win games, doesn't matter how at this stage of the season. But we will need to play better if we are to win enough matches to be there in September/October.

Both teams are rubbish and bottom five teams at best

Pathetic.

I don't think we'll finish bottom 5 Hybrid. For 3/4 of that game the Tigers were in complete control and the team looked pretty dangerous at times. Yes, they switched off big time and it was disgraceful to watch as these guys are supposed to be professional and should know better, but there are some positive signs starting to develop.

Lawrence looks to have a spring in his step, Reddy offloads at will, Cashmere offers decent impact off the bench (should be supported by Moors rather than young Groat at this stage), Woods keeps going from strength to strength, Galloway was solid, Farah directed traffic well but has more improvement left in him. Benji was fairly quiet, as was Blair.

The real disappointments at the moment are Tuqiri and Ayshford. Moltzen is walking a tightrope from what I can see.

I was only saying during the week in another thread that last yr's game against the Panthers at C-town was one of, if not the only game in my life that i have been absolutley filthy after a win. The feelings i had after that game have been well and truely topped this afternoon

Our left fringe is totally rooted. Lawrence showed signs of improvement today, but Lote looks like he was totally caught napping on at least three occasions that I saw on television, and he was lucky that one was a knock on.

We failed to continue the game plan and paid for it. Got sucked in by Hayne dancing around like a dickhead and loose men were coming off the line instead of moving up in unison.

I know it was a win for us, but I work in a Parra dominated workplace, and they'll carry on like it was a win for them tomorrow.

What it proved to me is that refs are deciding games.

To take nothing away from the tigers lack of heart in the last 13 mins, and parra applying a blow torch, there were some dreadful calls. Benji's forward pass that wasn't, that led to a try in the next set!
A blatant forward pass in the lead up to parras last try, and a few more that I can't remember from being so peeved off right now!

Tigers need to learn how to shut out a game, refs need to be more consistent

Apart from the obvious already mentioned about the team,is the fact when Parra matta throw the ball around they can beat anyone, thats how they got into the 09 Grand Final

Rubbish is an understatement. A field goal away from blowing the biggest lead in NRL history in 12 MINUTES! Good luck making the top 8, I would like to say they have learned but how many times does this have to happen? I blame it on Sheens, the only common factor in every one of these games.

Our bench rotation doesnt work. Players late in the game seem fatigued while others eg Blake, BMM have very little game time

Once again, the forwards belt their gutse out and the backs look for ways to stuff things up. How many times do the same faces make the same mistakes and get rewarded with first grade selection the next week. Let the forwards have a say in who gets a run in the backs. I reckon we would see a new fullback and left wing.

I have to watch it again but for me today proves one thing.

Matt bell is the glue that is holding the ruck together.

He gets subbed off and we fall to bits

x 2

In the last two games, he was in everything defensively. I hope they keep him at lock for the rest of the year, regardless of Heighno's recovery.

He is the new Gibbs in that regard.

was a gibbs at penrith , and when i heard we got him i said many times he will prove to be one of the best buys and at present he is our number 1 purchase

I wouldn't pencil us in for bottom 5\. Tigers are a very unpredictable side over 80 minutes, let alone over the stretch of a few months. Anyway there is one common denominator over all these years of Tigers rocks and diamonds, Tim Sheens. He always says he is angry, but the players probably take scarce notice given there are never any real shake up to the place, Our inability to close out games professionally has happened way to many times over the years to ignore.

We will probably still scrape into the finals and might even go on a run. However a change would do us good whilst we stil have a decent player roster. We should be more consistent.

i agree eddie ,,,,,,,,,but at least we walked away with the two….........,how peeved would we be if was lost a game we led 31 nil with 16 to go ,,,,,,,,,,,,,
not much will change whilst tims at the helm.
