I say it all the time, people complain how the footy has turned to crap and its not the same anymore, but wtf is going on with the industry, its just as bad. Rock is dead, the only decent rock bands are old skool bands that have been around 20+ yrs. 20 yrs ago the main attractions at these awards were Guns and Nirvana. 20 yrs later its a bunch of wannabe gangsta's and strippers. No way would they allow anyone with a guitar in the building these days.

Isn't she getting married shortly , would you like your wife to be acting like this with an artist who is so talentless not only does he a/ have to steal a song , then he b/ has naked women in his film clip

We learnt the hard way with this song , my wife downloaded this song for the kids because they liked it and at my daughters birthday party we wondered why we could hear 15 giggling kids watching and listening to this song

We didn't know ,that the clip had a different version and had to apologize to a dozen parents for letting them watch this crap

Totally agree , but shouldn't someone be saying something to any of these youngsters and their actions .Where are her managers ,parents ,fiancé someone to say "Are you sure about this ??"

Any other sounds are inferior'.

Making a generalisation about an entire generation is an extremely ignorant thing to do. I don't know a single person around my age who respects, enjoys or thinks miley is attractive. She is extremely trashy and an embarrassment to my generation.

To go all out and say kids today have no taste in music is hilariously close-minded. Look around for other music rather than what's on the radio. Radio 'pop' music is voted into the charts by 12-16 year old's who have had images of lil wayne, miley cyrus, chris brown and rihanna shoved in their faces since they can first remember music. Blame other generations for letting popular music get to this stage before writing off anyone younger than 25 who has been born into it.

Jack White continues to combine blues and punk, and is one of the most acclaimed guitarists of all time. Adele and Amy Winehouse performed original soul music, and have some of the most powerful voices to enter the industry. That, plus the individual singing and songwriting talents of people like Janelle Monae, Frank Ocean, André 3000, Eve, the members of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs etc. mean that this generation isn't that bad as you may think…
