Thoughts on last night game..

I reckon all is needed and all that is ever been needed is a good halves pairing...we have a decent forward pack & good enough backs but no one is steering the ship

Have not had a decent half back since Scott Prince was wearing the 7 in 2005. He switched off in 2006 then Titans in 2007.

I bet Papalii wished he could return back to the Eels right now for proper service.

Unless WT can obtain a decent Half Back for 2024 then it will be along long season and maybe back to back to back Wooden Spoons.

My thoughts are Sheens said we spent the whole off-season passing the ball, and yet we are the worst team in the attacking 20 I've seen in at least two decades.

We've largely had less than nothing in attack all season (even when we've had our first-choice side available).

Our excuses book is like the yellow pages, two inches thick but useless.

We’ve won 7 football games in 2 years.

i just can't figure out why sheens would let Hastings go he must have known there's not many good half's left in the league
i know it got us klemmer and bateman but it seems forwards don't mind coming to us and are easier to get than a good halfback

Toa can be a great centre. He has to stop throwing the low percentage passes. Blind Freddy could tell you he would send that one which Kennedy intercepted. There was no need to pass idiot!

Cronulla aren’t that impressive. The decision on the Talau no try swung the momentum of the game.

James was impressive.

I think everyone needs to remember how much of a difference Korosau makes.

TDS will be good. He was defending really well I thought for an 18 year old kid.

The score line didn’t truly reflect the game.

Final note - I’ve like Hynes until now. Seems like a smug knob and he’s on Tito’s fly kick list.
