Thoughts on Pritchards hit...

I think in Dwyer's case, his tackling technique will change drastically if he ever returns. I doubt he'll ever lead with his shoulders into a tackle again.

If he doesnt, he may struggle to play first grade.
Tackling with your shoulder is a basic skill and a pre requisite. It is a shame that certain groups want it eradicated.

1\. It was NO shoulder charge.
2\. Imo it wasnt intentional…Simmons DID dip into it.
3.It was careless and or accidental....contact was made with the head, the game doesnt need that - its tough enough as it is. Look at Beaus tackle on Vatuvai last year, Moltzens tackle on Gallen the other day...benji playing with a broken face a few years back...tough stuff.

I don't think it was intentional, it was just poorly timed and poorly executed. A week or two on the sidelines is sufficient in my opinion.

I saw 4 hits exactly like Pritchards on the weekend but no suspensions? The only difference was the ball carrier wasnt knocked out?!

I'm hearing the Bulldogs are pretty upset, deservedly so!!!

Well if you think back 10 - 15 years that was a great hit

And then when you compare it to a deliberate knee which gets the same suspension (Tahu) as usual the judiciary is totally screwed up yet again
