There's far more nonsense and crap being posted on here basically with not a lot of people contributing positively.

Honestly Willow though , can you blame us ??

I reckon I'll be a Grandad quicker than we make the 8 .....you might be a Grandad before we make the 8

The difference is Happy, I don't let things outside of my life that I cannot control worry me. I worry about what I can control and influence. I shake my head every day reading some of the comments in here and the things people get caught up on. Rugby League is a sport, a game, nothing more. I like watching the Tigers play, probably not as much as I used to since I've become all too accustomed to the team losing. I've got bigger things to worry about which tend to rear their head more often than not, so I don't get hung up on the team getting rolled each week. For those that do, I suggest find some perspective on what's important in life.

You’re coming across as quite superior in my opinion. If you don’t let things out of your control worry you, why do you get upset at these types of comments?
Mate, for some this is a release. I work hard in a stressful job where I have to be measured and conservative, careful of what I say and do. For me, this forum, and watching footy in general, is my release. It’s where I let my emotions overflow. @cochise will tell you that at games I yell and scream like a madman - because it’s a release and an emotional outlet.
I too think some comments are ott - but if they’re not disrespectful, so what? Live and let live

Where did I say it upset me? You may call it superior, I call it reality. Happy knows what I do for a living so he knows I'm not blowing smoke when I talk about reality and what's important in life (to me).

Not easy being green Lieutenant Dan

Mate if you knew what I went through at work yesterday you'd be shaking your head.:astonished:

I'd been back a week and told my boss if he wasn't happy to offer me a redundancy package lol

I like it, always something going on.

Results don’t help the mood and sometimes it gets a bit heated. Often read a cracker of a post and or a funny one and am reminded why I keep coming back.

Same thoughts here.

Absolutely. It takes all sorts to make a good forum.

Losing doesn't worry me , have said before just make fun of us when I see we are going to get belted

It is the promises of change from the club that know won't come or will take forever to come

Wasn't joking with what I said to Willow my son is 15 my daughter 12 , and it won't surprise me if I'm a grandparent before we make the semi's again

This side is so far from a finals side , it's not funny

Reckon when we look at the 15 other clubs I'd take 14 of them , reject Dogs , the Titans are closer playing finals footy than we are despite their position on the table

@happy_tiger My boy is 14 and he doesn't really remember 2011. I had a hard time convincing him it will turn eventually, particularly with NSW losing Origin every year. At least your son had QLD

The overwhelming negativity keeps me from viewing the forum as much as I used to. Over the past few years this club has been shafted by its 4 supposed homegrown stars and then a coach who promised a new dawn, yet somehow 'supporters' are keen to rewrite the narrative and blame the club for everything. I think too many people have their brain rotted by reading news ltd and watching NRL 360.

I can only imagine what things would be like if we struggled like Newcastle did or like the Bulldogs currently are.

You mean HAD Qld lol

I understand your pain as does Hobbo , we have spoken about this , his young fella is the same age

When the bad nights happen make a joke about it .....we usually start getting excited about our Fantasy League players playing against us

The night the WT's got pumped by the Cows 64-6 , we were at the game and started getting excited about Matt Wright as he had scored a true hat trick in the 1st 12 minutes as we had him in our Fantasy sides

Cowboys fans must have thought we were insane lol ......

The negativity, hi-jacking, random abuse and dummy spitting has always gone on here IMO. I just try to scroll past it as quickly as I can. And I reckon some people hit the enter button way too quickly...

The only annoying aspect of the new format is the inability to easily follow what some are replying to if they don't use the quote button. I understand that it reduces unnecessary content in one way, but it also reduces interest in that conversation.
So I just scroll past all that stuff too... seems to be lots of scrolling!

Completely agree here. Use the quote people! It’s very hard to stay positive when it seems the players aren’t putting in. Even our coach as of last week has made it clear he’s had enough and he’d been in the place for 18 games! We’ll all lose it at times. The agro can get a little overbearing, but it’s the internet and is common place so scrolling on works for me. Compared to most - even facebook fan pages, this place is very civil indeed. Once we start winning on a regular basis and our cap thieves are gone, we’ll shake this comp up.

Although many of us have complaints, we do jave to realise that @Kul is working around rhe clock to make this forum better for all of us

@Geo don’t be mean to my brother KUL , he just happens to be so good at his job that it’s become doable from home 😉

The forum can’t be too bad as I still spend a few hours on here every day.

A seedy cafe in Amsterdam no doubt !

tbh i couldn't login to new forum under my old username and was happy to observe from afar. I'm the kind of poster that likes to post after wins....plus i mostly like to support what we got (Braith being the notable exception) not whinge about what we havent got...
