Word brother, Watmough smacks a sponsor out last season and denigrates said sponsors daughter. I don't care who was responsible, perhaps he will wake up to himself and realise being bigger doesn't always mean you can intimidate and win the fight…

Seriously half the posters in this thread should be shot… please explain to me how two men who were jumped by a bunch of gutless thugs should be justified.

Your hatred for a club makes you think this is funny, what if matai was to been seriously injured or worse yet KILLED would it then still be funny.... Think of it this way, What if that was your Son out there at his mates house and he happened to be jumped by a group of thugs would you still be laughing then....

thugs cause they play football hard… one thats in a sport, 2 i cant remember watmough or matai ever king hitting someone then boot bashing them on the ground.... maybe i fell into a coma in that season......

That is assuming that the version of events put forward by Matai and Watmough are indeed factual accounts of exactly what happened.

I was not there either and whatever happened nothing warrants kicking a man/men when they are down. However looking at the track record of both of these individuals when affected by alcohol in the past it would not be a stretch to believe they may have been involved in the instigation of whatever transpired that night.

One thing is for sure though. If these attackers are caught they will not have the funds to employ a QC like young Steve did when he got off assault charges despite video evidence

Although I do not think anyone should be shot lol, I do think people or here are being harsh. Watmough and Matai were blindsided and completely outnumbered. If they were in a fair fight and they lost.. then it would be funny.
