Yeah because it isn't as if they done it before :brick:

When has benji played reserves at wt? He wasn't bitter at the donkey's when he played there. So where does this judgement come from? You have stated it as fact so obviously has happened before?

Potter benched Benchy , at Brisbane he was a small fish in a big pond

Comparing the WT's and Mick Potter and Brisbane and Wayne Bennett , wow bro

We are going to need a lot to go right in 2019 to play finals footy , even some small ripples in the pond could derail our season

So not reserve grade then. Benji has never been disruptive because he was dropped to reserve grade.

OK so he was disruptive when he got dropped to the bench ….semantics much ??

I remember benji being rushed back from injury 2 weeks early to play the dogs and sharks, some sort of toe injury only tigers players can suffer. Then put on the bench for the next game with fults at 5/8 but coming on after 12 minutes as we had to chase the game…but how was he disruptive?

Well I hope he plays his 300th game and surpasses it because that would mean he is playing good footy - and we will need all our players to be at their best to have any hope at making the eight next year.

Looking forward to both Benji and Robbie working for the club when they retire. Any suggestion they would have a sook and impact on that is ridiculous.

Exactly.

Yeah, they can join Skando & Hodgo…club legends.
Theyve both made some poor choices previously, best to forgive and forget...be positive not bitter

Agreed.

Compared to some others in the league we are pretty bad at creating culture and building off of what has gone in the past. . At some point this club has to stand for something and be proud of who we have been.

Farah and Marshall will play their part in our future

I can only assume they are aware of situation and know what's up. Maguire sure won't be bullied into selecting players to keep them happy. I'm sure if either Marshall or Farah throw tantrums etc they will be shown the door by 30 June. I feel they're professional enough to do the right thing. They're legends to me and I don't want them to wreck it in their last fling.

Marshall and Farah have zero leverage. This isn’t 2012 when they were practically running the club. Neither will throw tantrums, because neither weild any power.

Chris Lawrence is a club legend

Farah and Benji …........I just shake my head , the word legend must have a different meaning to some

No Chris Lawrence is a nice guy.

He is likeable.

The other two have twice as much for this club however.

Not really worried about the situation will just enjoy seeing them play as we wont get many more chances.

Maguire doesn't seem like a guy that just wants to tread water, be liked and do enough to keep his job. We will see what team he thinks will have the best chance to win.

I am sure Benji and Robbie will get a fair few games as I am sure they will be pushing each other and injuries happen. (Liddle +Reynolds last couple years)

Yes Benji did so much for the club , he changed codes and swore he'd never play against us and then played for two different clubs against

When he finally RAN OUT OF OPTIONS he came back to the club

At least Robbie wanted to stay come hell or high water

The club screwed the pooch making them life members , particularly Benji

Not necessarily, I think it's more likely if he's playing firsts that the other options aren't up to his level. It's where that bar is set that concerns me. I don't believe he's capable of setting it all that high these days - particularly with his game management. I just hope Madge instructs Brooks to run the show and tears strips of Benji if he takes over. This story is filler. What a "nothing" piece. We'll have this type of crap raining down on us all season long I suppose.

I think the bigger worry is if Robbie and Benji play together, Robbie favouring Benji over Luke.
I guess if Robbie does that, he won't last too long.

Jusr playing Doc. Not really concened one way or another.
If Benji plays 300 it will be nice and if he doesnt there will be reasons. No need for any concerns to be raised by this story unless you are looking for one.

No mate, the story doesn't raise any concerns. I felt last year that Luke lost a little authority thats all. But it's his time now.
