Tigers after Pearce for 2014

Wrong if he gets placed on more than Benj and Robbie?! they are much classier players. Although Pearce could be strong buy, wouldn't deserve more than those two.

To have Pearce (a very controlled half) partner up with Benji (who can be both controlled and flamboyant) would be the perfect balance of attack. The opposition would never know what is coming. Not to mention Pearce's combination and apparent friendship with Farah. And would be the best half we've had since Prince, and we all remember what happened when Prince was around…

1\. Tedesco (will be more experienced by 2014)
6\. Benji
7\. Pearce
9\. Farah
13\. Sirro (again more experienced)

Best looking spine since '05
It's a premiership winning spine

The only problem is the cap

Yep. If we got Pearce I think other teams' fans would be entitled to ask some questions! Very few teams have big money players in 5/8, 1/2, and hooker.

at anywhere near 600 I wouldn't

At 400 I probably would. Id also enquire to the likes of Hodgkinson etc who for better value could do a decent job.

I honestly cannot see us spending over $400K on this bloke when he has come out in the press on numerous occasions and said he doesn't want to play with us. We have Sirro and Benji moving forward and that should get us by for a good 5 years or so.

Sirro wants and is proud to play for us - I'd pay him $400K for that alone.

Well if Pearce signed it would mean he's changed his mind and DOES want to play for us.

an actual halfback with a big boot .i think it will come down to who the roosters sign as their next coach there been rumours around for ages he's not a smithy fan. Comne home son were you belong.

Just another bit of fluff, Warren Mcdondald as he said makes millions of calls to check on the status of players with their managers. Most clubs in the NRL would make a play at junior junior and some with far more space in their cap.

This one is a real long shot and really I think the chooks will be at short odds to retain their no7

I'm hearing Saints are the most likely outside the Roosters SC

That's probably a good thing - they'll need him more than us because, despite my huge doubts about him earlier, I reckon Benji will end up maturing into one of the best halfbacks ever.

14\. Anasta

18\. Over the cap.

Probably why he stopped after #14 pacey… Sheens likes to play with practically two men down anyway, so it's a real possibility still...

You'd think the Roosters have signed maloney (last year for next year) with a view to him partnering Pearce, and the odd man out is already signed by us.

Yeah I can't see them losing Anasta AND Pearce… Someone would have to pay massive overs for him to leave Bondi.

You'd have to think that Brian Smith is on has last legs as well

Surely he has worn out his welcome by now
