Tigers commit to Macarthur region - open shop.

WESTS TIGERS TO OPEN GEARZONE IN CAMPBELLTOWN
Friday, 27 November 2009

Wests Tigers has reinforced its commitment to the Macarthur region by opening a new retail outlet in Campbelltown next week.

The club will launch its new store, GearZone, at the new Brands On Sale outlet in Queen Street, Campbelltown.

The opening of GearZone follows the announcement Wests Tigers will play four home matches at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in 2010\. The first home game at Campbelltown will be against the Sydney Roosters on the weekend of April 30-May 2.

The success of the Official Wests Tigers shop at Concord Oval and the strong following of the team in the Macarthur region led the club to establishing GearZone.

GearZone will stock a full range of Wests Tigers Supporters Gear from Jerseys, Caps, Polos, Tee Shirts and Training Gear. All proceeds spent at GearZone go directly back to Wests Tigers. GearZone opens its doors for the first time on Thursday, December 3, at 10am.

Several Wests Tigers players will be on hand on the weekend of December 5-6 to mark the official opening of the Brands On Sale outlet.

Chris Lawrence, Simon Dwyer and Willie Mataka will appear at GearZone on Saturday, December 5, from midday to 1.30pm to meet supporters, sign autographs, and take part in the fun activities.

On Sunday, December 6, from 10.30am to midday, Bryce Gibbs will be joined at GearZone by new Wests Tigers players Geoff Daniela and Junior Moors.

This will be a great opportunity for Wests Tigers supporters to not only meet the players but also to get some great opening specials.

Supporters will be able to discuss the 2010 ‘Step Up’ membership
packages at GearZone and become a valuable member of the Wests Tigers.

Brands On Sale is located at 32 Queen Street, Campbelltown. The GearZone store is at Shop 234.

Maybe they're going to sell other gear from other sports there. I'm not sure if thats the case but it would broaden the market which means more $$$

**December 10 is now the opening day.** The traffic will be horrendous. There appears to be a fair amount of parking on site, however I suggest anyone coming for a look park a few streets away, should be easier to get out.
