Tigers eye permanent move back to spiritual homes at Leichhardt, Campbelltown

Absolutely, why would you not want an upgrade.
Surely by improving the facilities other codes and organisations will be contracted to use the ground thus bringing more coin into the council, beyond me.

I feel something like this is essential for the club to have a more concise identity.
It wouldn't be disregarding an important aspect of what also defines the Wests Tigers - especially as the junior pathways program has been realigned (more securely) and this helps safeguard its future and also addresses other cultural factors (the club's connection to heritage or tradition etc.,) affecting the club's succession planning.
The past negligence in this area (our juniors) would've been one of the most vital lessons for the club and I love that the they are trying to stabilise our identity. It's the poor rebuilds which have hurt the club the most but seems we are trying to capitalise on all our best resources to guarantee our worst problems don't keep reoccurring.

I’m hoping this happens. I’d love to see a stronger presence in Campbelltown and Leichhardt Oval is my favourite place to watch footy.

Frankly I’m sick of the rhetoric from the club about the importance of having an identity and a consistent home base whilst doing nothing to ensure this happens. Pascoe has been harping on about it for years but never seems to make any solid plans or strategies for a home base.

Isn't the Leichhardt council a major sticking point in that they supposedly are against much upgrading of LO? Don't know why the clowns are so staunch against it though.
Would love to see it, keep the hill but upgrade the rest if possible.

You know what, at the end of the day we need to look after our success & if that leaves us to 3 games or less only so be it. I don't actually care anymore. I'm over us not performing and we have to simplify our home ground strategy. If a council won't come to the table then the decision is simple, play less games at LO compared to CS until things change - if they don't then move to CS fulltime.

Having soooo many home grounds 100% has an impact on us during the year compared to other clubs. We aren't setup for success. Our finances are the best they have been, we have a CEO, our recruitment is actually starting to look forward, our pathways focus is getting a heap of attention. We now have to make sure our players & us fans are also setup for success

I never want us to leave LO, love the Den but we now must do what's right for onfield success.

I like the current set up. Think its the best for us. Although perhaps prefer a new 30k stadium at olympic park then bankwest but happy at bankwest until then.

I would love to see L.O and Campbo as our home grounds, both could easily be our jungles...The big stadia are good for financial gains, but, leave little to the "this is our home atmosphere"...if we can keep the revenue coming in without the dependency of the big stadium funds, then we become a far better proposition to attract juniors and seniors from far and wide if we maintain a winning, consistent and stable environment...thats what the platform should be,not the NRL nomadic tribe as we have been...

Playing more games out our actual home games would be tremendous. Hopefully it gets done in a few years but I'm not holding my breath

Can't wait for this ridiculously long ANZ/Bankwest deal to be over. Whoever signed that for 10 year is a fool

Fool is harsh,

It has helped with our teams financial security and lets face facts, the majority of fans dont actually go to the game.

Most fans watch it on TV. I went to Wollongong only last season to watch the Tigers.

Here's another fact, unless the tigers start wining soon, there wont be any new Tigers fans to go to games anyway.
