Tigers eye permanent move back to spiritual homes at Leichhardt, Campbelltown

Fool is harsh,

It has helped with our teams financial security and lets face facts, the majority of fans dont actually go to the game.

Most fans watch it on TV. I went to Wollongong only last season to watch the Tigers.

Here's another fact, unless the tigers start wining soon, there wont be any new Tigers fans to go to games anyway.
I think I'll move away from the lounge room and move to the guest room for home games, has better facilities and uninterrupted broadcast.

I actually have no issue with games at Homebush. The facilities are great, and despite what people say, the atmosphere is fine. And I enjoy the commute, it’s pretty straight forward. Parramatta is useless and is the most overrated ground in the game. I will give the Networks and the NRL credit though. When it first opened, they shot the stadium from a POV that made it look like a coliseum, when in actual fact it’s no bigger than Ctown if Ctown ever got an upgrade. Plus, I have never known one stand of a ground completely closed off to the public and only for players, officials and corporates. Another sly piece of editing that you don’t realise till you actually go there. Of course, they made sure that wasn’t the stand that gets shown on the tv.

it is annoying at Parramatta you get season tickets and you have to sit and look into the sun, but the corporate boxes are taken care of though that is the important thing.
Not a very good ground
Homebush is big but has plenty of parking and public transport

I also prefer Homebush. Easier commute for everyone and better parking, facilities. If there did that remodel it would have been the perfect base.

Yeh Parra fans getting screwed like us at LO, $60 to sit adjacent to the dead ball line 👌

The deal would've been great if it was shorter but a ten year deal is crazy for anything, now the last 4 years of the deal have been more of an annoyance than anything

Fool might be a bit harsh though you're right haha

Fool is not harsh at all, it was Grant Mayer and 10 years is way too long to lock into something like that.

I swear this gets mentioned every year as a possibility.

I enjoy both LO and Campbelltown for games but find it hard to see us going back to that model. We’ve used a big stadium as the third home ground since around 2003/4.
Yes, the home ground story is an ongoing conversation like the weather. Everybody talks about the value of a single homeground, single brand which would help develop the much needed spirit de corpse, but nobody does anything about it?

At least we aren't playing the Eels at Parramatta Stadium this season.

Don't like the layout or location after giving it a go and unless WT are playing a finals match will likely never attend another match there. Happy to go back to splitting our matches between our more traditional homes and Homebush if greater capacity is required until a better option arrives.

We are. Easter Monday.

100%.
In saying that it’s clear Pascoe has us very much focused on forward financial and off field planning.

You don’t want to wait until the contract is up to renegotiate which is what has happened years before = no option but renew.

Lets wait and see but I’m really positive about our financial situation and how we are planning for future continued success off the field with Pascoe leading the charge.

I’m not saying Pascoe doesn’t have a 15 year plan, just saying I’d like to see some evidence it exists.
