The other games at Anz stadium this year:

Tigers vs Eels = 36k
Tigers vs Bulldogs= 21k
Tigers vs Rabbitohs= 15k

No different to a suburban ground?? Your kidding yourself arent you. The fans are speaking with their feet, we make more money, and the corporates love it there. Its a no brainer.

If you read my last post you'll notice I agree with you

A bit hard comparing crowds with stadiums as we play most games against well supported sydney teams at ANZ, eg rabbits, parra, dugs! And out if towners like Melbourne, cowgirls at CS and LO!!! As part of the contract with ANZ, they probably won't pay much 4 the other games?!?!
So crap comparison really….

Im a tigers supporter and im not willing to travel to leichardt or campbelltown because of the crap facilities and parking. So im sure opposition supporters feel the same way. From memory the biggest crowd weve had at leichardt is 15k recently. How many people do you think would turn up to leichardt or campbelltown if we played the dogs or eels there. Youd still be lucky go get 15k people there. There is no comparison really, bit hard to get 36,000 in either leichardt or campbelltown, unless you split the gsme in 2 and played 1 half in each ground

I think a lot of our LO games are strategic as on a Sunday arvo we generally get a crowd no matter who we're playing, hence why we normally play teams from interstate with small NSW fanbases there eg. Titans, Storm, Cowboys. We'd get 20k against the Dogs and Eels there, particularly if we or both teams were playing well. The facilities at Campbo are fine and parking isn't so bad is it?

Just a quick point for those saying how ANZ is giving us the money to play there, our genius former CEO who was spouting what a great 10 year deal he did with ANZ forgot to mention that the up-front payments we get from them was only for the first 5yrs of the deal, then for the second half we have to pay to play there (no financial guarantees). I've had this confirmed by someone at the club…..

I forgot about that deal. It looks like we won't have a choice it will have to be ANZ.

I take it back , your right, Campbelltown isnt so bad. Its just so far away. ANZ is just so convenient whether your driving there or catching a train. I think the upgrades will make it the best stadium in Australia

Geez, each time i have driven and parked there i have sworn to never again

If you get stuck on one of the top level car parks it takes an hour to finally get onto the road.

Campbelltown is NOT bad, the worst bit is 10000 people trying to get to the other side of the railway line.

There are 100s of parking there, just getting there after games takes an age
Fix that and we really dont have an issues there except the obvious, that its too far for some

Despite the fact im a true blue NSW Supporter i have to say Suncorp is the best

I catch the bus to the game, im home with in hour from the time it ends

The Atmosphere ? well its truly hard to beat that place and to beat the Broncos there lol

Carrington Park Bathurst and if that's busy ANZ after the renovations are completed.

ANZ, no brainer. Best facilities, especially after the re-development, best payback for the club with 1x LO and 1x Cambo for traditional heritage appeal.

In any case, once finished ANZ will be like a bigger and better Suncorp. Suncorp also isn't great to get out of after a big game. And that's with 30 less than ANZ currently holds.

_There was no sarcasm there (Intended anyway)\

I agree when ANZ has had all the re-work it might be the best place to watch any game but at the moment its too far from the action.\
\
In a stadium which can fit 80k and only 10k turn up and sit miles away from the action doesnt have the best atmosphere.
Thats what i was referring to._
\
\
_Back on suncorp, i must admit, i havent been a a sell out game so if it gets worse i havent experienced that.\
\
All i can go by is what i have experienced so far._
