Tigers looking to buy back-up

bring back gibbs would be a good start.

but what urks me is the have known this for some time yet they have not acted at all, just get it done, and now not in six to 10 weeks.

In all fairness to the club we didn't look too badly off for props before the season started. Galloway,Woods,Buchanan,Groat,Gavat. Not including the younger players who are now getting games through injuries and some of our second rowers who could fill in if required.

You need to start a season with at least 3 - preferably 4 experienced props….not two.
You included three in your list and then described others

**Not including** the younger players who are now getting games through injuries

You **ARE** including them
Realistically they were depth players, not top 17

We started the yr with Galloway and Woods and not much else. Has been a slice of luck that Buchanan has played as good as he has

Good to see Potter gave BMM a run in reggies yesterday considering his limited game time on Friday Night…

With Tedesco scoring 3 tries, maybe he might come onto the wing this week?

Gibbs is out until Round 11 with an Achilles injury

Blair can and has played prop before he can fill in there. Pettybourne has played starting prop for Souths so it's not all doom and gloom. Nofo should get the nod if koro is out. But we are feeling the effect of sheens unwillingness to invest in fringe FG props.

i still think our best chance is helping a club sign dugan.
the dragons want dugan, but are doust and humpty professional enough to work out a deal.

Good suggestion Bon stoker, the dragons also have a lot of props I clouding Weyman, Henderson off contract or perhaps Scott Anderson from the broncos or someone from the titans

Our preferred option maybe Brent Kite

Perhaps Asotasi - Souths have lots of props and he was dropped today. Also he is off contract at the end of the year and unlikely to be resigned - if we gave hiom this year and next perhaps they would release him.

Also former Tiger Anthony Laffranchi is off contract at the end of this year with Bradford

From what I've heard Laffranchi might be returning home to northern NSW/GC. There is talk of trying to get him back playing with his old club Mustangs, although that might just be wishful think haha.

If we are looking for Fullback/Wing backups Nathan Gardner is a must.[/quot

We sent Lui packing to NQ for the same reason, so why would we sign convicted wife beater from the Anchovies?

Re: depth at FB, from NYC we have Curtis Rowe and T Simona from WT NSW

Gardner was convicted of wife beating? You serious?

We need one or two experienced props NOW, next year will work itself out.

Really? Wants out right now? Wants an easier ride at another club for somewhere near the same coin no doubt.

There's slim pickings out there. I agree with the chap that suggested Humpty should knock on Dousts door, smoke the peace pipe and take a prop or two off their hands so they can sign Dugan.
