Robbie Farah says Wests Tigers must rebuild finals push at Canterbury Bulldogs' expense

Tigers skipper Robbie Farah has labelled his side's match against high-flying Bulldogs on Sunday as a "must win" if the Tigers are any chance of snatching a top-eight spot.
The Tigers are on the verge of a finals spot but are on the slide, having lost their past two games. Farah said the Tigers had to show their finals credentials on Sunday.
"It's always difficult when you're in this position and our for-and-against isn't the best, which means while one win still gets us on level points we’ll still be behind the other teams," Farah said.
“We need to get a couple of wins in a row to jump them. That’s the pressure of footy. Our semi-finals are starting pretty soon.
"We were looking good before that Origin period but now we’ve come back to the group. The pressure is on now … every game becomes a must win.
"With every loss we make things harder for ourselves. It starts with the Dogs. They are a great test for us. We need to come out and put in a good performance."
They face a stern test against an in-form Canterbury side which has surged to the top of the table thanks to three consecutive wins.
The Tigers have been struck down by injuries to Braith Anasta, Liam Futon, James Tedesco and David Nofoaluma, which coincided with Farah's and Aaron Woods’ absences through Origin duty.
"We have to work hard and be patient," Farah said. "Injuries haven’t helped us. [Fullback] Mitch Moses has come in as a kid and has been thrown into the deep end.
"Ideally it hasn’t been great for us in terms of changing our personnel. We have to be patient because we know we have a talented group there."
Meanwhile, Tigers coach Mick Potter has defended the club's decision to release Marika Koroibete to the Storm before the June 30 deadline. The Tigers have since struggled with injuries to their outside backs.
"You make a decision to allow a guy to have an opportunity," Potter said. "In hindsight it's all very well and good to say that he would have been better to stay. You don’t want to hold anyone back."
Veteran winger Pat Richards hopes to overcome a groin injury in time to play Canterbury. He completed a fitness test on Saturday morning.
