I also think one of the positives are the 'real' leaders we have across the park with their uncoachable traits. Stuff like finding that extra gear, hate of losing.. Api Bateman Klem (which is gonna work wonders for aspirins skipper Stef) and the fast rising back to form Paps. This rubs on the rest especially the young players. The effort in the dying stages vs Saints, multiple tackle by 80min players Paps & Bula, just outstanding.

I noticed something with Klem. He seems to have improved at the WT, which is funny as at Newcastle he seemed to go a little backwards.

One thing that would help is Bateman being a natural leader. I believe that is why Russell Packer did not fire for us. He followed the Dragons leadership of Graham, etc. Then Packer came here and it was a bit up in the air, we looked to him to be leader and he was a little lost. Likewise Tamou, a leader at Penrith but he came in after Petro (or during Petro's stint) and came to a solid pack. Here Tamou seemed to be a bit lost as to how to get the team going and the rest were barely first grade. (from memory, only Twal and Stef remains from that time).

Stefano is now hopefully going to hit his potential and if he does it will be massive. Yet it is off the back of some very good leadership..

Yeah you only gotta watch the celebrations in the background of Klem,Bateman, Api n Co. Lol watch Bateman jumping on the spot a few times in back play made us happy to see.
