I really dont get it…..

Things have changed forever, the way ppl are talking here, this bloody twitter BS that I cant read..fans furious with media....media with a social responsibilty allowed to broadcast blatant lies to a massive audience....its just a bloody sport for crying out loud, with highly talented players entertaining loyal fans.

A reflection of society going down the crapper in a lot of ways.

Oh its always going down the crapper, pick a decade and someone would be complaining about societies decline. Just like that darn Rock'n'Roll music, the dual flush toilets, portable radios, TV, internet/tubefaces etc.

I like being passionate about league and my team, having passion isn't something to decry.

Things like honesty, integrity, respect, courtesy are values being lost more often imo…just look at the 'news'paper

Just pick a decade/century, someone is always saying "honesty, integrity, respect, courtesy" is in decline. Somehow whatever current period we are in is always the worst.

You mention twitter, my only purpose for twitter is to follow sportsman and personalities that I like. If Lawrence had a great game I can tell him directly, when Robbie came home for his mum I sent a message of concern directly to him, if I want a laugh I just look at Gibbs messages to his old team mates etc. This is something new and great, unprecedented access to players of our club. It comes with some bad aspects, but its still a very good thing.

Fridays beat up from the Daily Tele re: Tim Sheens & Robbie Farah was a disgrace, the fabricated & exaggerated story is unfortunately a sign of the times concerning the media, a powerful, wide reaching organ that has a responsibilty to publish the truth as accurately as is possible.
Unfortunately the Daily Tele do not mind sacrificing their responsibilty in an effort to generate sales with dramatic yet inaccurate headlines.

Its well known the Daily Tele has a problem with Wests Tigers (Benji employed by the DTs opposition, Fairfax media)....most people are awake to the DTs agenda, unfortunately we are not entirely immune as other media such as online social media, radio & TV feed off this.

To Dean Ritchie:
For you to write the BS you did about Robbie Farah at a time when its well known his mother is battling a terrible illness is really a low low act, you should be ashamed of yourself._

Insanniek I was on 2ky after him ( right after 9 am news). Not sure if u kept listening. If u can transcript that for me here that would be awesome. Hopefully I got my point across ok but really wanted to stand up for the club, players and supporters who are really angry at what was written.
