I've lost who we're talking about here - is it Brown, Nielsen, Lawrence, Koro, Moltzen, Dugan or Chambers? 😕 If it's Brown it's a good signing.

It's a bit like that Flip

We don't want a centre/backrower we just want and need a pure specialist centre. We have had enough hybrid players over the years to last a freaking lifetime.

How about Wests Tigers making an offer to Dane Neilsen now that he has been released from Dragons? He would be a bargain.

NO…..

He bit a girl on the leg at a night club…..

Hardly an abhorrent act.....drunk, stupid but not the end of the world.

Ive done far more stupid things and not lost my job cos of it.

Saints have been pretty cruel IMO....they have now got a cheaper bloke in Aitken and they have had a chance to get rid of the bloke, save some cash and have swooped on it.

Please explain why biting a woman is ok with you. Not a big deal. What if it was your girlfriend, sister, mother, niece, or one of your friends? Would that still be ok? or is it just because she's a stranger, so it makes it not that bad
:crazy

it's wrong to bite anyone. full stop.

should he lose his job because of it? imo, no. but the nrl/clubs these days hate anything that tarnishes the image.

it's simple.. dont put yourself in a position that's going to make you do something stupid. easier said than done obviously esp when you have the cash and the age.

Very sweet. I love a boy that loves his mum!

Why is this thread still here when the player themselves come out and say they haven't even been in any contact with us?

I'd most probably have a laugh if a footy player was so tanked that he got on the floor and bit my mum/sister/gf on the leg.

I would have given him a good slappin myself.

Makes sense he does say "There's a few other clubs that have shown interest. Over the next month hopefully I can work out what I'm doing."

Now there's a good signing if it was possible.

Great, so we could end up with another player, who would rather be playing somewhere else :unamused: This is obviously who we're all speculating about on the "Tiger's Gossip' thread. It all makes sense now with the reference to trying to avoid a backflip.

Yeah it is - I'm sure his mum, sister or gf would be thrilled at such disrespect being shown to them :unamused:

Why on earth wld we sign Lewis Brown….hes either a midget forward (97kgs)in a pack that gets dominated more often than not,or a very slow and aging back....
Cant make Gus's run on team..
Just not getting it

That makes him perfect for WT, don't you think?

All jokes aside, I really like Brown. I think he goes well and I wouldn't object to us signing him. My only concern is that he said he'd rather stay at Penrith if he could. I'd be happier if the players we signed would actually rather be here, then us just being their fall back option.

I think he punches well above his weight. He has a go every time he runs on the field. Totally dependable, not a rock star, but an experienced, trustworthy combatant. And…he's an ex tiger. Bring it.
