Swapping for a couple of older guys sounds interesting too. You'd assume Todd Payten would be one. Galea possibly the other one or even Payne. Those 2 are not contracted to us but we would be the organising agent.

IF recruitment manage to get Burgess & Tuquiri however (as well as those they've re-signed & Tomato) I will very very happily start a thread saying that they are now doing a fantastic job! I'd love to start that thread in fact :slight_smile:

depends on the players we have to give up for Burgess,maybe right now we are under the cap for Tuqiri but not for burgess BUT if we were to do a deal where we sent a few players to england than i dont see why we couldnt get both

dont know about burgess or who you would give for him, im mates with mark flan i just know thats what he said about burgess who he is mates with from when they played at bradford together

average in what way??? in his second game for wigan he was top tackler in the game with 51 from 55 tackles attempted not bad for a 20 year old in his second full game in super league and live on tv too

not being funny but you say he is average what do you actually know about him im guessing zero??? hes average enough for brian noble o sign him from amateur rugby in oldham when he was 17 years old for bradford and then when brian noble moved to wigan guess what he signed him for wigan too so obviously noble one of the top coaches in britain rates him and i think he has a better idea of players than your good self!!!!

Believe Mick is genuine. There's a large gap between someone who who is genuine believing something will occur and it actually occuring, but genuineness is a good start.

People cast aspersions on new members like Mick, but after following rugby league message boards since 1999 (sadly), I will say that a newly registered member is often more reliable than a denizen of the board. Ask yourselves, what does a new registrant get from lying? Then compare with a sadcase who occupies themselves on a message board and lives and dies by their reputation here. Who has more to gain?

Payten has previously sought a release to chase some bigger dollars in the UK so there could be some truth to it.
