Tigers sign Penani Manumalealii

I guess our NSW Cup really did need a proper 5/8 to partner Drinky in the halves….

nickel and dime stuff…hardly worth posting...i guess Moltzen isn't coming along as expected....

I bumped in to Beau Ryan at a shop in Paddo and he said that he spoke with Moltz and he is not far away from playing but said it is a confidence thing with him now.

Beau said he loved his time at the Tigers and said this is a team to watch going forward, more next year than this one.

Sounds like a pretty underrated signing to most of you. Penani is a slick ball runner and at only 22 probably has his best football ahead of him. NYC has made people think that if you're not a superstar at 19 then you're nothing but 22 is still really young for a half. He's got real nice footwork close to the line and scores a lot. He's a lot like Te Maire Martin. Real nice foil for Drinkwater the kicker/controller. Good signing for NSW Cup this year but who knows what could happen to him with a new jersey on. I remember watching a game a couple of years ago in NYC where he utterly carved up. Has played a couple of first grade games and a few internationals. Really rounds out our halves depth nicely. Now we have formidable halves combinations in all three grades.

I expect our NSW Cup side to be immense with his addition.

Get acquainted. It'll be a matter of time before most of you love him.

theres no mention on the tigers website, about the signing. i know its just a 2nd teir but u would think they would say something.

Nice left foot step, looks like he goes well when running the ball and should be very good for Drinkwater.
