It's great to see players picked in their rightful positions.

Gone are the bad old days of the "Sheenius" decisions, where it would be shuffling the deckchairs and moving everyone around to come up with a Team…..

I applaud Potter for these selections....it's like the old days, where if you lost your first grade 5/8th, your reserve grade 5/8th stepped right in.

It is great feeling for all Wests Tigers younger players to know that the first grade coach has confidence in them. Austin and Rowe certainly have the ability to play first grade and what better time to make their first grade debuts for Tigers than at a Tigers home match. There seems to be a lot of confidence with all three Wests Tigers grades. Support from a huge home crowd will certainly add to this confidence.

You are right this shows the coach has the courage and the belief that the younger guys can move up ,rather than trying to play it safe and having a negative reaction , I am getting a lot of respect for Coach Potter if it doesn't,t work so be it but there is a structure to the thinking!

Although it's always hard (and something we seem to have year in, year out and week in week out) with the injuries we have. I'm actually pretty happy and excited about this squad. Good luck to both Rowe and Austin. Well deserved.

it's the right thing to do replace a fullback with a fullback… the sheens era of a winger on the bench playing wingers at 5/8 hookers at halfback back rowers at prop is over.. I know from what I hear he has not been playing good but I'd rather a fullback back there then in the words of sheens 'manufactured' fullback.

I'd say Lulia is cover for Simona in the event he is not fit by game day.
