Absolutley rubbish performance from a team who look like they are carrying the attitude that they can just turn up to a game and win without any real effort put in.
As a team a truly gutless display where they rolled over like a dog who had been beaten for a week.
The inside shoulder difence from the pigs was deplorable, Mataka's lazy play in the centres was uttrly pathetic and Matt Ryan switched off at half time. Until that point he had shut Trindall down and as such controlled Windsors attack. He came out after half time like he had already finished the job and got shown up accordingly.
Our halves looked like two guys who had just met each other on game day and had no confidence in each other or in their individual ability.
There was zero talk from Cowan at the back or if there was some it was sporadic and not assertive enough.
Tame is utterly useless at this stage, Gower seems to put in when it suits him of late and Fifita just does not have the match fitness to keep up with the pace.
What summed up how truly lacking in character the side was yesterday was that after we had a pass intercepted off our line break the majority of the side just hung their heads. Earlier in the season the first instinct would have been to turn and chase the break regardless of if they could have stopped it. Now the first reaction is to lament and have a pity party.
I thought Latu, Al Schirnck, Farlow & Curran were guys who put in a solid effort but it takes more than three players to get a win.
It is like since we belted the Bulldogs the cruise control has been on in some players minds. You would think last week would have woken them up but unfortunatley the injury list makes it too easy to make excuses. Even the fans of the side are guilty of making excuses.
The time for excuses has to end. The few players who put in every single week for every minute they are on the field have every right to be utterly filthy at the rest of the squad for capitulating as they did to a pretty bog ordinary Wolves side. The sad thing is if Windsor took less stupid options they would have put another 20 points on us at least. Which is in reality what the team deserved.
Time to wake up and show some courage and determination. Players who wonder why they are not getting a call up need to get a copy of yesterdays game have a good long look at their performance and the answers should become pretty bloody obvious.
The side are going close to what I thought they were incapable of doing. Bringing shame to the jersey.
The Centurions are a hungry side, they proved that when we first played them. If they do not switch on next week and play for their pride and th guy next to them they should consider not bothering for the rest of the season
