Let’s say Benji goes to 9 next year. Why wouldn’t you keep Reynolds to play 6? I know it’s only one game but gee, we haven’t looked this dangerous since Jason Taylor was our coach 😜

Because Reynolds is on what 4 x times the amount Benji is on. Benji is a better 5/8 and we are under salary cap stress. If we can free up money there will be room for players we need in more crucial positions.

Ok - remember reading that actually.

Mate 70% is a guess - I have no idea. I’m just saying if we are going to pay a lot for him to play elsewhere, is it worth keeping him? I don’t know but there’s just a thought in my head that he still offers something. But your argument is logical and reasonable and probably more likely I suppose.

I can’t see a coach like Madge ever agreeing to pay large supplements for any contracted players wishing to transfer.
If they want to leave their managers will have to arrange reasonable terms.
